Rehearsals the last few weeks had been really intense. It had been non-stop dancing and you had even had to give up your weekends to rehearse your duet with Matty. You sat on the coach next to Harper who was clearly too busy listening to music to play the travel game of monopoly you had brought along in your bag. You texted your sister. She had not been talking to you since she wasn't picked to perform at the festival. She was jealous that you were picked so had locked herself in her room and refused to talk to you. She couldn't understand why you would jump at the opportunity without her taking part as well. The only words she said to you over the last 2 months were "I wouldn't have done it without you" which you knew was a straight up lie. The nerves started building up. You suddenly felt really odd, as if you wanted to chicken out right there and then. You got off the coach after hours of sitting down. You went straight to the hotel and crashed on your bed in the hotel room that you were sharing with Harper and her sister. Harper's sister was called Hayley. She used to be a professional dancer but gave up when she realised that dancing wasn't her thing. There was suddenly a knock on your door. You and Harper scurried excitedly to the door, wondering whether it was time to make your way to the festival. To your surprise when you opened the door Max and Harvey were stood in front of you. "Hi girls" Harvey said in a gentle voice. He spoke with a soft cute tone and he stared dreaminly into your eyes. There was a short pause which was interrupted by Harper excitedly boasting about how beautiful her costume was. "We just came to wish you good luck and wondered whether after your performances, you'd like to come and film a YouTube video with us." You took their offer and made your way down to the main stage with them. You stood nervously at the wings of the stage. Suddenly you felt a hand on your shoulder which made you jump. "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you" it was Harvey "I could tell you looked really nervous so I thought I'd just come over and tell you that it will be fine. I'll wait here in the wings and I can promise you that once you get out there you will forget that people are even watching you." His voice was so calming.
