"We're about to play Late Late Night Tinder with one of the hottest NBA rookie from Japan!!! Kagami Taiga! Let's look at him inaction!" at the host's signal the VTR rolled to a video clip montage of the NBA player. Tall and fierce, his aura in the video he was intimidating to say the least. Charging intoother players to make the shot or passing an opponent's defense like a wild tiger hunger for his prey! 

"Please welcome Kagami Taiga!"

The audience erupted with a round of applause and a few screams from the female audience as Kagami came out a little embarrassed. Waving at the crowd as he made his way to the host of the show James Corden.

"It's a pleasure to have you here Kagami! Well aren't you a tall drink!" James was more than impressed with the athlete that was beside him. Towering over him like a god. His hair was like wild fire under the glare of the studio lights. His eyes were twin flames, piercing and full of passion as he looked down at the host "Kagami. Hold me love. I think I'm about to faint from your existence"

The people in the studio bursted out laughing as Kagami's cheeks blushed bright red making the jolly host fan himself.

"Did you see that? He blushed! Julia I'm leaving you!" once again the audience laughed "But seriously now. Can you believe it!!!! After months of trying to convince him to do this he is finally here!!! What made you change your mind?"

"Well, my friends were nagging me about being single and they kinda forced or should I say dragged me here" he answered jokingly.

His laugh was contagious and James literally turned red as he looked at the camera.

"Can I date him instead!? I mean seriously. I mean SERIOUSLY! Look at him and tell me you don't want to take him home!"

"You're just exaggerating"

James' mouth fell open as he looked from the athlete to the camera "He's even humble. One lucky girl is going to hit the jackpot tonight ladies and gentlemen!!! Taiga!!! Welcome to the US of A. I heard that you've grew up around L.A., can you tell us a little about that?"

"Well my dad is a consultant of sorts and he was hired as one here so we moved from Japan to the US when I was young and then came back when I was drafted to play" Kagami was a little camera shy as he kept scratching the back of his head.

"Well tell me, how is the dating scene so far in L.A.?"

"There a lot of beautiful people here but I really can't say. I don't have time for it"

"Oh come on! A lot of NBA players have multiple girlfriends and even wives!"

"Nah James, I'm not really into that type of thing. You know, right now I'm busy with playing basketball. That's why my friends back home convinced me to try and date someone and the rest is history but there have been a lot more DMs. Some were freaky but it was fun"

The spectators bursted out laughing as James clapped good-heartedly at the athlete's statement.

"But none of them were successful. So what are we looking for in a partner? Any deal breakers?"

"No, I try not to limit myself, but I'll know when I see her"

"Alright now you're talking our language. We have a fabulous set of people waiting for you backstage. Let's see if your perfect match is here tonight! It's time to play Late Late Night Live Tinder!

The pudgy host explained the rules to Kagami. Like the tinder app. The women will come out one by one, standing behind the big phone screen on the stage that was on the set. He'll swipe right if he likes the woman and swipes left if he doesn't with the big foam finger that they provided him. The people that he picks will get to sit on the three chairs that they prepared on the right side of the stage for the next round. And the women that he doesn't like will forced to fall into a ball pit.

"Now, swipe wisely Kagami because only three women can make it to the next round! Alright so it's time to get started! Bring out the first contestant!

The drum roll signaled the people at the back to come forward starting with the first woman. Tall, blonde, an hour glass figure.

"Hey so here's Jackie. 24. I can't make up my mind if she made an effort to look like that or she was born that way wearing those clothes. Well tell me what do you think?"

Kagami found her beautiful, no doubt about it. He looked at her making her smile confidently at him. "I don't know. I mean she's beautiful and I think she's interesting."

"Interesting indeed, I mean look at that smile and I'm kinda liking those earrings, you know a touch of glamour. You can tell that she's a fashionable person just by looking at her. So what do you think are we keeping her or swipe left?"

Kagami looked at her for a moment, a little unsure but then decided to swiped right "Alright, let's Jackie for now..."

"We're keeping Jackie! And we are off to a good start folks! Let's bring out the second one!!!"
