Transfer Student

TWO (FLASH BACK)

Flash Back  (6th grade)...

            I walk down the hall just like any other day, but something is missing...my friend has transferred to a new school. (What if something happens to my mom I will have no one to rely on) I think to myself. I keep walking and I hear someone crying in the janitors closet.  My eyes widen as I see the coolest kid in school, crying!

Tae's pov...

       I run to the closet crying figuring out my dad had just had another heart-attack due to his heart disease.   About five minutes later someone walks in... I can't quite tell who it is because of the tears in my eyes. "Are you okay" she says with a worried tone in her voice. As I wipe my tears away I say "I'm fine"    I look up at her realizing she is my crush and I start crying again.

         For some reason I tell her everything about my dad having a heart disease, and she says that her mom has brain cancer and then she started crying. Randomly I gave her a hug and said "It will be okay."

Ji Soo pov... 

      I see him crying and the first thing I say is "Are you okay" he wipes his tears and says "I'm fine."  once he sees my face he starts crying again.  I kneel down on my knees and he starts telling me that his father has heart problems and just had a heart attack recently... After he calmed down a little I told him that my mom has brain cancer and that she faints often. Out of nowhere I start crying. Taeyang pulls me into a hug and softly says "It's going to be okay"

       The next day I see Tae in the front of the school waiting for someone. Before I went inside the gate I looked at Tae from a distance admiring the piece of art in front of me.... His light brown hair with his long bangs that were so long they hit his eyelids, his lips were slightly pink, and how his pale skin went so well with the falling snow. His thick eyelashes made him look as if he was wearing makeup even when he wasn't.  (He really is perfect) I think to myself as I start walking to the doors. Before I got inside the school Taeyang pulled me to the back of the building...."HEY WHAT WAS THAT FO-" I got cut off by him saying "I haven't  properly introduced myself yet...Hello my name is Kim Taeyang you can call me Tae!!"   "O-oh my name is Kim Ji Soo you can call me Ji Soo" I say with confusion...  RIIIIIIIIIING  ...the bell ringed  and scared both of us. I was about to walk to class then I hear Tae yell "Wait!" I stop and turn around  and I see him holding out his hand saying "Let's  be friends."  I shake his hand then go to class...

After school (Tae pov)...

         I see Ji Soo walking home and I run up to her and say "Can I walk you home?" she looked confused at first, but she said "Sure, you can." with a smile. Once she gets home we she share phone numbers and I go home myself. Once I get home I plop down on my bed...(She is kinda cute...) I think to myself.

Two years later (8th grade)...

       I walk downstairs to find mom on the phone with a shocked look on her face, once she hangs up I say " What happened mom?"  she slowly looks at  me and says "We are going to America..." I open my mouth to say something but nothing comes out... I finally get the courage to say "Why" 

"There is a doctor that can help me!!"

"REALLY!!! Congratulations mom!!"

Tae pov...

     I was about to confess my feelings to Ji Soo then I noticed that she had tears In her eyes...

 "Are you okay?" 

"I'm going to America." 

"WHAT!!! How, why, you don't even know a word of english!!"

     After I calmed down a little she told me there is a doctor in America that can help her mom  "Oh, sorry for overreacting." I say trying to stay calm. "It's okay" she says with a depressed look on her face. "Go wet your face with warm water so your eyes aren't red."  I say calmly.  

    After school I talk to her and tell her to call me everyday with an update on her life. After that it was the last time I saw her face-to-face.

Day of the deaths(9th grade)...

      She kept her promise well calling me not only every day but, two or three times a day...But on the day my dad died it was silent, to silent. Once it turned 8pm I started crying because she didn't call yet.....It was 10pm when she finally called and when I answered she was crying and the first thing I said was: 

"What's wrong?!"

"My mom died a few minutes ago..."

"REALLY?!! My dad died a few hours ago!!' I say followed by a sniff...

     We were on the phone for an hour until her phone died.

10th grade (Ji Soo pov)... 

       Last night my I left my phone in the living room, apparently it was ringing and my drunken dad slammed the door open and threw it at me, cracking the phone. After that I had to change my phone and phone number... I could not keep in contact with Tae anymore and talk about my dad hitting me and other struggles in my everyday life.....

Hey thank you for reading... It took me an hour to figure out how they lost contact...
