Lucy woke up in the morning of September 1st. It was 2 days before her first day of school and now, she was celebrating her 17th birthday as well. Her boyfriend couldn't visit her for the rest of the summer, all because he was visiting around Europe during this whole time with his precious and rich family. He told her a million time that he was going to bring her a little something when school's starts, but somehow she doubted that he would. Waking up in the morning with nobody by her side was not a habit that she often saw in the numbers of mornings of her usual birthdays she had spend since she was first born. It felt just like the movie "Sixteen Candles" when the main character's parents forgot about her 16th birthday since it was the same day as her older sister's wedding. Except Lucy wasn't 16 and her parents didn't forget her birthday for over her sister's wedding. Besides, her sister was too young for even being aware of the existence of a wedding. Her sister's name was Jesse and she was only an innocent little 5 year old. So what was the point of complaning against her yet adorable ignorance. Talking about it, Lucy had also a younger brother aged 12 years old named Cody. He's a little boy, like any others, but he always has the urge of proving the contrary when he wants, and that made him special and more lovable to any carefree creatures living in this planet.
