But He Got Money.

"I'm heading to the bathroom okay?" Desiree said smiling at me.

"Okay babe. I'll turn the movie on." I responded back smiling at her.

As she disappeared into the bathroom I flipped to the right channel so I could pop the movie back in.

This was nice. I was with my girlfriend, our baby was sleep, and we were getting along. It was turnin out to be a great day.

*Buzz Buzz*

I felt a random vibrate an checked my phone but it wasn't from my phone. I looked around the couch and saw her phone lying there.

*Buzz Buzz*

It vibrated again. I was so tempted and so curious at who could possibly be texting her this time of night.

I glanced at the bathroom door then back at her phone and snatched it reading the text down her screen.

From: Sky (11:42pm)

"Have you told him yet? I miss you and our baby!"

My heart suddenly felt like it stopped..my brain seemed to have stopped. Reading the text over and over, the world had stopped..

"Woah! Do I feel better!" She said walking out and plopping on the couch. "Let's watch this movie!" She shouted smiling.

"Who is Sky?"

"What? I don't know a Sky." She said pretty sure of herself.

"I'm not an idiot! Who the FUCK is Sky, Desiree!? I want the TRUTH!" I raised my voice.

She blinked a few times then looked at me and scanned my face. "I don't know what--"

"DAMMIT! I saw that text! Who is Sky? Cause he sure seems like someone you clearly know!" I shouted standing up.

"Chres please let's talk about this later.." She pleaded.

"You will tell me who Sky is! Right now!"

She but at her lip. "Sky may or may not be...the father of my child.."

I think in that moment..I stopped breathing.
