Astoria was outside sitting on the steps by herself. She heard someone walk up behind her.
“What do you want Ban.” she said a little irritated that he was there.
“Just wanted to talk. You know get to know you better, because we will be together for a looong time.” he said exaggerating the O.
“What do you mean a looong time?” she said mimicking him.
“Well we are stopping by Camelot on our to Liones and I have a feeling something is going to happen…” he said trailing off at the end. Astoria was confused, how does he know something is going to happen.
“Well if you insist I could tell you a little about myself but only if you tell me about yourself as well.” she said looking over to him. Ban was lost in her eyes. He never noticed how pretty they were until now. Her eyes narrowed when she saw him stair.
“What?” she said in a harsh tone which snapped him out of his thoughts. He had never felt that way towards anyone other than Elaine King's sister.
“Nothing, I was just thinking about how really pretty your eyes were.” he said in a soft tone. Astoria blushed and looked away.
“Yours aren't half bad either.” she whispered so that he didn't hear her.
“What was that?” Ban asked her confused. He had heard her say something but didn't catch what it was.
“Nothing.” she said and looked at the ground like it was the most interesting thing in the world.
“Well how about you tell me what you like to do for fun.” Ban said still looking at her.
“I like to read.” she said still looking at the ground.
“What do you like to do?” she asked him.
“Well I like a lot of things like cooking and training. I also like to drink but that might be obvious.” she laughed at that and their conversation keeled going on like that for the next few hours.
