Millie: Come over. Now.
Sadie: I'm busy. Tomorrow?
Millie: No. Now.

Millie waited on her stairs for Sadie. It took over an hour but she finally showed up.

"What's up Mills?" Sadie questioned, leaning against the railing.

"You know what the fuck is up." Millie stared her dead in the eyes as she said this. Sadie looked confused.

"You broke up with Finn! You said the kiss was meaningless!!"

"I thought it was, but-I- It's hard to explain. Just keep out of it ok Millie? This isn't your problem." Sadie was growing angrier.

"It is my business. You're my best friend. I want what's best for you. You just screwed up an amazing relationship. Finn doesn't deserve this."

"Well if you're so wet for Finn then you can have him."

"Sadie, you know I wouldn't do that to you. We're best friends." Millie said, more relaxed than before.

"If this is what being your best friend is" Sadie started, getting closer to her face.
"Then I'm done" Sadie said turning around and walking away.

Tears welled in Millie's eyes.
"Fuck you" She screamed.
"You don't deserve him anyway!" She continued as Sadie's figure got smaller and smaller until she was out of earshot.

Millie ran inside, tears rushing down her face. She couldn't believe her longest lasting friendship was over just like that.

The thing that stuck with her the most was what she said about Finn. Millie had a huge crush on him before him and Sadie started dating but she tried to block that out of her memory. There's no way Sadie knew about it either. She never told anyone. And even if they're broken up now it would be wrong to date Finn. That's her best friend's ex...but...if they're not best friends anymore....

NO! She needed to talk to Finn.
