" do you have a avatar?"

" do you suspect me?" Kinako asked already knowing her answer.  " I dont have one though"

" how can I trust your words. This place is filled with natural energy.  Even a normal person can bring it out. There is no guarantee that you dont have one" tsurugi said as his amber eyes locked into the gold ones.

" how can I prove you that I'm not" Kinako took a step. " if you want hit me and see if my avatar will protect me like yours did"

There eye contact didn't break for a while until tsurugi closed his eyes. " no it's ok. I haven't fallen low enough to harm a comrade "

" dinner was ready was it? Come on let's go" tsurugi passed the standing girl.

" um you know tsurugi-kun...." hearing this the boy stopped and turned back. " I...." kinako played with her fingers as she tried to get her words together.

" what is it?" Tsurugi asked a little confused .

" well actually I...." she couldn't finish as she felt a pull on her leg. She was being bragged by someone. Her scream spread as she tried to grab on to something but the speed didn't match.

And before she knew it she was thrown off a cliff.

The pull was gone but she was falling. No one came..... was she going to die here.... like this.... at this age...

" I dont want to die" she whispered as she closed her eyes scared.

Suddenly something as a rope tied around her hip. She was half away down from the cliff hill point. She looked at the rope that saved her. It was ash like iron and some places were blood red.

She then held into the rope as she climbed at her most speed. The higher she came the rope lost its ash colour.  She was now again at the top and the rope was red.

She covered her mouth at the sight. He had his arm bleeding. " are you alright?" He asked.

" yea but your arm......" she quickly came to him. " there arnt much iron around here so I had to use what was there. Dont worry " as ge said the rope began to turn liquid and moved into his body through his wound. After words his wound froze.

He then grabbed the soft hand of the girl. Her hands were injured from the climbing.  " it's fine. It desont hurt much" she covered.

" thank you for saving me...." kinako said as she found herself hugging her saviour .

Tsurugi found this very surprising and out of the blue but he understood  her fear as he let her be where she wants.

His eyes then drifted off to the cliff.   A man was stairing at them from a far middle of the trees. Tsurugi glared before standing up. " can you stand?" He asked offering his hand as she took it.

" yes " she answered as she got up but then fell right back. Tsurugi caught her as he saw her unsteady breathing.

Swet slipped off her skin and her breathing getting heavy.  Her fair skin was pale. " what's wrong?" The answer to his question remained as he looked around noticing the green weed that dragged her was still on her leg. It was glowing.

'Master quickly  remove that away from the lady. It is draining her energy away' soon as he heard lancelots words he quickly took action and successfully cut it off.

He then looked towards his friend,  so weak and helpless.  His heart ached from pain. Tsurugi quickly took her to their resting place.

" we should gather some wood for tonight " shindou suggested as temma nod. Suddenly two young teenagers appeared. One behind the boys back.

The two quickly ran to him as tsurugi quickly lied her on the soft floor on the little house.

" what happened?" Shindou asked touching the young girls forehead.

" she was attacked. Her energy was drained " tsurugi checked her Paul's. 'Dame it's so weak. And she's cold like ice' tsurugi thought.

" what do we do?. Her breath is getting weaker and weaker " temma bite his own lips as he saw his teammate losing her grip to her life.

' give her yours' the three of them heard. Tsurugi quickly put his hand on hers but shindou moved it. " let me do it. Your injured, you'll need your strength " shindou said as he put his hand on kinakos body. " mayertoror do what you have to" he ordered his avatar as his hand glowed and so did kinakos body.

Time passed and tsurugi and temma stayed outside. Tsurugi didn't speak a word. Temma could only look at his friend. Tsurugis eyes were boiling with anger and hate.

" tsurugi....." temma didn't continue as shindou came out. The two outside quickly stood up waiting for a answer.

" her lifes not in danger anymore though that desont mean she's okay. I gave her the strength she needed, the rest is up to her" shindou said as he looked towards tsurugi. 

" let's eat and get some rest as well" shindou said as he left.

" arnt you glad tsurugi.  She's okay" temma said but tsurugi didn't answer back.

" go eat. I'll come after I check up on her" tsurugi said as he stepped inside.

" you know you shouldn't blame yourself for everything. It's not your fault " tsurugi heard his best friends words behind him as he froze.

He then looked back at his friend. " I dont blame myself for everything but no matter how you look at this....... this was clearly my fault. "  he gave his friend a sorrow smile. " I was there right next to her. I had the power and yet she almost lost her life".

Tsurugi then again turned and faced front. "  that guy will not get off this easily "

Temma came back to shindou. " how is kinako?" Temma asked. " she desont look like shes going to wake up anytime soon. What about kariya?" Shindou asked.

" no sign. He completely disappeared " temma sighed and so did shindou. " one after the other , troubles just keeps following us. Not only kinako but tsurugi is bathing on hate and now Kariya is gone "

" maybe kariya really was the guy who attacked kinako" temma said as shindou looked up. " we cant be sure but one thing we know is that we cant stay here any longer. The enemy knows where we are so we have to move"

" but kinakos injured. We cant just pack up and leave" temma had a point.

" I know that but staying here wont solve anything  and besides " " we dont have to move " a deap voice cut shindous words.

" tsurugi......" shindou trailed.

" I wont say I have another solution but moving is not an option. We cant risk it. Right now kinakos health comes first..... so " " it's fine. We get it" temma cut tsurugis words.

" if we didn't chill off then I'm sure handling an attack will be easy" shindou smiled and so did temma.

Tsurugi stayed silent for a second before his lips too curved into a smile. " thanks "
