As much as I hate to admit it, I was enjoying being "friends" with Jenna and the girls. Especially Tiffany. She is very sarcastic and may act dumb, but she is actually really nice. And I was surprised by how nice Jenna was to the girls. I expected the normal, bitchy, Jenna. But, instead, she's sweet and sincere. Strange how she is.... I guess the saying don't judge a book by it's cover really is true to it's words.

We had set up the party and were now waiting for the guests to arrive. Jenna pulled me over to a corner.

"Look, I know your enjoying being "friends" with me, but don't think we actually are, okay?" She sounded sincere.

"Okay." And shrugged it off. She walked back over to the group and they started laughing at something. There was a knock at the door and we all went silent. I leaned against the table, waiting for the fun to begin. All the people that walked in, weren't here for the party, Well technically they were. But only to preform.

Apparently Jenna had booked Calpurnia to play for the party. First came Jack Anderson, carrying a bass guitar. Next came Malcolm Craig, carrying some drumsticks. Next Ayla Tesler-Mabe, carrying a guitar. And then, I made eye contact with, him. FINN FUCKING WOLFHARD!

I don't know if Tiffany or Emily noticed me, but I bolted to the bathroom. And started muttering to myself.

"Okay, just one flick of my wrist and I could be out of here." There was a knock on the door. "Just a minute."

I opened the door and walked straight into someone. Looking up, I practically screamed.

"S-s-sorry." I said.

"No problem. It's my fault anyway. I should have watched where I was going." Jack said.

"It's mine as well. I should have watched."

"Hey, your one of that Jenna girls friends, aren't you."

"I hardly say friends." I muttered to myself, apparently louder than I should have.

Jack chuckled. "Well, I gotta hurry up so I can warm up. Bye." He said walking into the bathroom.

"Bye." He shut the door. Maybe I could stay. Maybe, just maybe, this would be fun.  I started walking back to the main room, and stood next to the girls. No one was here yet, still. So I talked to Tiffany.

"So....?" I said.

"So.... Do you like Calpurnia? You practically ran into a wall when you left the room." We giggled.

"Yeah. You?"

"Not really a fan. Don't tell Jenna, but, I like classical more." She sounded serious.

"I love classical music."

"Doesn't everyone?" I turned around and saw Jack once again.

"Why yes. Yes everyone does." I said rolling my eyes at him.

"I didn't introduce myself earlier. I'm Jack."

"Elisha. I'm a huge fan of Calpurnia by the way."

"Please don't go all fangirl over me!" He covered his face.

"I'm not that obsessed." I giggled. Apparently, in this time frame, Tiffany had walked away.

"Lunch. Tomorrow. You down?"

"How formal you are."

"I try."

"Sure. I'll go."

"So, I may need your number for this..."

"Very smooth, Jack. It's 1-706-932-7528." (A/N: Don't call. It goes to someone in Georgia.)

"K, Cool. Hey I gotta warm up. Wanna come and watch?"

"Sounds interesting." We started walking over to the band. He grabbed his guitar and strummed a few notes.

"Picking up strays again, Jack?" I turned around and saw Malcolm. "Don't worry, love. Your not the first to fall for him."

"What?"

"You heard me, didn't you, cheap slut?"

"What did you just call me? A cheap slut? I didn't think you could recognize them, when your probably gonna be a virgin till your 40."

"At least I didn't lose mine when I was 3. You probably slept with your dad so that he wouldn't ground you."

"Sorry, unlike you, I have class." I couldn't deal with this guy. I had lost my dad to a drunk driver back when I was 6.

"Says the girl who's skirt looks like a thong. In fact, your daddy probably let you wear that just so he could take a peak at that nice ass of yours." I walked away. And by the time I got to the bathroom, I was sobbing.

"Vas montos, tribaro..." I whispered to myself and was back at my home. I layed on my bed and cried for one of the first times. Suddenly, the door opened.

"Elisha, are you okay?" My mother sat on the end of my bed. And for the first time since my dad died, she sounded worried.

I  moved closer to her and hugged her. "I know we fight, but I love you." I whispered into her shoulder.

"I love you too."
