His name was Phil Lester. He had it all, nice hair, body, popularity, luck with the ladies, everything.
Well, almost everything.
You see, Phil was the school bully. Whenever he hit one of the weak freshmen that went to his high school, girls swooned and the popular guys patted him on the back. Before he had his popularity and his countless girlfriends, he was the school nobody. He got picked on every day at school and at the foster home he lived in ever since his parents had died in the horrible house fire. Too bad his parents were only children. But then, on the last day of his junior year of high school when one of the bullies were giving him his usual beating, Phil fought back.
*flashback*
Phil lay on the ground, breathing hard but trying not to from all the pain his broken rib was giving him at the moment. He had a black eye, bruises everywhere, and many all cuts on his arms and legs. Suddenly, one of his assailants kicked the small of his back, bringing out a quiet hiss of pain from Phil's mouth.
"What was that, Lester? You want another kick?" The old school bully, Rick, asked the now shivering boy on the ground.
"N-no, please, no more-" Phil began, only to be cut off by Rick.
"Oh you do? I wasn't going to continue but if you insist..." Rick said, kicking his legs while his friend, Morty, kicked his back again and again.
It hurt so bad, and for ten minutes he layed there and took it, the pain and the hurt, before starting to think. Yeah sure, Rick is a year older than me, but I'm taller than him. As for his man-servant over there, he'll just run away. So Phil made a plan.
Rick had just finished completely bruising every inch of skin on his legs so he moved up to Phil's arms. Before Rick could start his torment however, Phil's arms wrapped around Ricks legs and pulled, sending the once powerful boy to the ground. Phil uses Rick's falling momentum to push himself on top of Rick and punched his face so hard that Rick ended up unconscious and with a bloody nose.
*end of flashback*
The first day back to high school as a senior, Phil was treated like a hero. Over the summer, the story of how Phil stood up for himself and took out the school bully had been over exaggerated to the point where it seemed like Phil had sent Rick and Morty to the hospital. After that, Phil was required to keep up his "bad boy" reputation, even though he hated it. But eventually, he just started feeling less and less emotions until it got to the point where Phil was beating up innocent kids for fun.
So far today was as normal as it always was. Phil's day usually consisted of: going to school, beating someone up, going to his current girlfriend's house or even a club to hook up with some chick Phil had never met before, then going home while the girl was sleeping, and falling asleep in his own bed with not many regrets about the day before. But little did Phil know, today was different.
Phil was at school choosing his next victim out of the freshmen who were now exiting the front doors of the school's main building. Just as Phil was about to choose some random kid he had probably beaten before, he saw a new kid.
He had dark brown hair and was about as tall as Phil from what Phil could tell. He was the perfect target.
Twenty minutes after tailing this kid he turned into an alleyway. Perfect. Phil turned into the same alley to find the kid facing a brick wall. As Phil walked closer he could her the kid murmuring something.
"Hey kid what are you saying?" Phil asked nicely before putting on a cold look over his face after the kid didn't answer him. "Are you going to tell me or do I have to beat it out of you?" Phil asked the strange boy as Phil was getting more and more annoyed with him every second.
