Even' 21

Prologue

"Her name is Even Carter. She's 17 years old"

"When did she go missing ?"

"Last night."

"Who was she with ?"

" Her boyfriend Harry."

"Does Harry have a last name ?"

"Yes, Harry Moyes"

" Charlie, Do you know what happened ?"

" It was around 6 in the afternoon. Even and Harry planned a date to go to the movies, or the ,park something around those lines. Harry pulled into our drive way with his blue pick up truck and Even got in. She waved goodbye like normal. I thought everything was normal. Untill around 10 last night. Harry pulled back into the drive way with his blue pick up truck, this time with out Even. "

"Did Mr. Moyes say anything to you ? "

" He did, he mostly cried. but said something along the lines of, he hit something with his pick up truck, and Even got out the car with him. He heard a scream and she was gone."

" Is that it Charlie ?"

"That's all I could make out from what he was saying, he was crying to much to put together sentences."

" And Mr. Moyes , where is he now ?"

"I don't know he hasn't been at school ? and Mom won't let me go anywhere else but school and home. "

"Okay thank you Charlie , I promise we will find your sister soon. There's nothing to worry about, but if you see or hear from Mr. Moyes please let us know he's the only real witness here.

"I will. Officer White, please find my sister."

"Charlie. We always do our very best."

But I guess there very best wasn't good enough.
