"It's time that I moved back to Nebraska.."
"What why?" Howard asked confused.
Leonard forcefully stood up.
"Can we talk, outside, please." he asked politely gently pushing Penny out the door into the corridor.
"Look, Leonard, this isn't because of you and Priya. I just need to get back home"
"Penny, don't leave me"
A single tear dropped down Leonard's face onto his collar, he wiped his eyes, hoping Penny wouldn't notice.
"You'll be okay, you've got Priya, all the guys. I'm really sorry.."
"No, I don't. I need you" Leonard hugged her, and wiped more tears away from behind his glasses.
"You'll be fine" Penny says, turning around and heading towards her apartment. Her eyes became watery, she got goosebumps and tears slowly dripped down her face.
"Priya and me are done, she's moving back to India permentaly, she broke up with me this morning.."
Leonard now had a stream of tears dripping down his face as he slid down the wall onto the ground. He removed his glasses and rubbed his eyes.
Penny stopped, placed her hands against her door.
"Leonard" Penny said turning round to see Leonard sitting on the ground with his head in his hands.
"Don't, I dont want your sympathy Penny" Leonard mumbled, with a small choke in his voice.
"Well, I guess.. I'll go pack them. Sorry for everything.."
Penny opened her door, and walked into her apartment. She turned around before closing the door and starred at Leonard who was a wreck. She closed the door slowly, turned around and lent against the door.
"I love you" she wispered.
'I love you too" Leonard quietly wispered from the oppsite side of the door.
Penny turned around and opened the door.
"Don't say anything" Leonard said as soon as she opened the door.
"You are the one I want to be with, you are the only one I want to be with. Whenever I was in bed with Priya, I would close my eyes and imagine it was you. Every morning I woke up next to her, I would imagine it was you. You are the one I want to bed with, the only one. Please don't leave me. Penny, you cant go back home, because you, are the only one. The only one for me"
'Leonar..."
Leonard stopped her with a kiss.
