The Mysterious 14th Division

Zanpaktou Arc

I was sitting in my office and paused. For some reason I felt different, like something had changed. I paused looking at my sword. "You’re unusually quiet Kokuei" I said, but no answer. I narrowed my eyes, but then there was a knock at my door. "Come in" I said, as I paused seeing the Captain. "Rei we are to head to Soukyoku Hill, Captain Genryuusai's orders" he said, as I stood up and walked over to him. "Yes sir" I said following him. We walked over and I paused seeing every captain and lieutenant of each squad. "What's going on Captain?" I whispered, as he looked at me. "I'm not sure myself" he whispered back, as they stopped and saw a strange looking man walking towards them. Captain Komamura tries to attack him, but everyone's eyes widened as his Zanpakuto took human form fighting against him. I looked down at Kokuei and gripped it. I dare not fight this man if he were to bring Kokuei to human self just to attack me. Everyone started fighting him only to have their Zanpakuto brought to human form as well. "Rei" said Captain Endo, as I looked at him. "Do not bring out Kokuei, I have forbidden to take out Aoi Bara myself" he said, as I nodded. However the man calling himself Muramasa dashed towards us, and he pointed his fingers in our minds. A flash went into my mind and then I blinked a few times. I looked down seeing my sword and looked up and my eyes widened seeing Kokuei. "Kokuei" I said, as Muramasa looked at us. "The Zanpakuto have declared war against their masters" said Muramasa, as they walked away. I bent down on my knees and gripped onto the ground. "Damn" I said, as Captain Endo put his hand on my shoulder. "Don't worry Rei, Aoi Bara was taken too, whatever he did, he has gained all the Zanpakuto’s in the soul society" he said, as I narrowed my eyes. "To the 4th Division everyone" said Genryuusai, as everyone nodded.

I started shaking my fists. I was unbelievably angry that this was happening. Nobody knew the strength of Kokuei and for him to go against me in a war would kill me. I closed my eyes as we heard screaming outside. "It's already begun" said Genryuusai, as I narrowed my eyes. I walked out and blew my whistle seeing Nao, Hibiki, Toshio, Yasuo, Arata and Eiji looking at her. "This better be good" said Hibiki, as I glared at him. "Haven't you noticed it?" I asked, as they stopped and looked at me. "Your Zanpakuto’s have turned to human form, including the captains', lieutenants' and myself" I said, as they stopped. "This is bad, our dragons are superior to the others" said Arata, as I nodded. "Not only that they have decided to have a war against us, we must fight them and retrieve them at all costs" I said, as a hand went on my shoulder, and I turned seeing Captain Endo. "Hold on, Rukia has gone to the world of the living let us wait to see what happens with the substitute soul reaper and his news before we act without a plan" said Captain Endo, as they nodded. It wasn't too long that they saw Ichigo and Rei ran towards him looking at him. "What do you know?" I asked, as he narrowed his eyes at me. "Not even a “hi”" he said, as I glared at him grabbing his collar. "There is no time for that" I shouted, as Captain Endo sighed and put his hand on my shoulder, he pulled me back and smiled at Ichigo... I think. "Kurosaki it is indeed a pleasure to see you again, however the dragons of the 14th division have all been take from us, it is crucial that each one is returned to their owner, so if you have any information to tell us it would be greatly appreciated" said Captain Endo, as Ichigo nodded. "They have to be defeated by their owner to return" said Ichigo, as my eyes widened and then they narrowed. Somehow I was afraid of that. "Alright everyone you heard Kurosaki split up and defeat your Zanpakuto’s at once" said Captain Endo, as they saluted. "Yes sir" they said as they all used shunpo. "Thank you Kurosaki Ichigo" said Captain Endo, as he nodded and turned to me as I was shaking my fists. "Rei" said Captain Endo, as I raised my head looking at him. "Maybe you can help Captain Hitsugaya" he said, as I nodded using shunpo myself towards the 10th division.

Meanwhile with Nao he was looking and then he paused as he saw his Zanpakuto in front of him. “Sabaku" he said, as she lowered her eyes just looking at him. "You... how do you know my name?" she asked, as his eyes widened. "Sabaku, it's me Nao... I am your owner" he said, as she glared at him and showed her claws. "You... you’re weak" she said, as he narrowed his eyes. "Sabaku, snap out of it" he shouted, as she dashed towards him. He blocked her and flipped back. "Clean Sweep" said Sabaku, as Nao's eyes widened, as he tried dodging, but it caught his leg eating at it. Nao screamed in pain, and looked at her.
