Chapter 7

I own none of the characters except for Starlight

“Okay little miss the energon coordinates are just over that pass”, Warpath said to Starlight 

Starlight said nothing as she drove along side of him. She was focused on one thing only. Her mission. As they pulled up over the hill, the energon supply was easily spotted with a bright blue glow. No Decepticons were in sight. Suddenly, an enemy plane flew up above. “Enemy sighted. New mission. Destroy Decepticons”, Starlight said as she sped up. She transformed and pushed off the ground to meet with the plane mid air. She dug her servo through the plane’s wing and tore out his wiring. They both began crashing to the ground. Starlight jumped down and landed gracefully as the plane blew up behind her. “Continuing energon retrieval mission”, she said before transforming and going over the hill. Warpath stood amazed gun still ready to shoot. “She sure is something”

Starlight loaded as much energon as she could into Warpath’s tanker before carrying some in her own hands and transforming. “This is too easy”, Warpath said as they rolled out of the mine. And he was correct. 12 vehicons swooped down in front of them. And a rather large plane circled up above. “Megatron”.

*Time Skip*

Starlight’s optics blurred back online. She felt weak and her arms were pinned up above her. She shook her helm and took in her surroundings. The ground shook a little as she adjusted to this new setting. She wasn’t in Autobot HQ. She most definitely wasn’t on the Ark. “Requesting Location”, she spoke out loud. But no one responded. She looked around and she saw why. She was surrounded by lifeless or what she thought was lifeless Autobots. “Wheeljack”, she spoke into her com link. No answer. “Optimus Prime requesting assistant”, she said with the utmost urgency. Still no one answered. Starlight relaxed. She knew she would be here for a while. And furthermore, she didn’t know how long she’d been there. She fiddled with the energon chains that bound her servos. She could feel one hand slipping out. She kept trying until she got free. She clutched the end of the chain mechanism and quietly slipped down to the ground. Wheeljack programmed her to be the most stealthiest bot ever. And this is when those skills came in handy. Starlight opened the door and was met with a white light. Well it wasn’t a white light. It was white paint. And on that white paint was a bright red Autobot insignia.

“Woah, there”, the bot said to her. He was a good 6 feet taller then she was. “Requesting Designation”, she said. “Well I’m Smokescreen. What’s your name?” “Designation Starlight” “Wow you sure talk funny..” “I can not process request” “What?”. Starlight just blinked up at her new acquaitance before breaking the silence. “Problem: Stuck on enemy ship”, she said pointing to the Decepticon insignia plastered on the wall behind them. “Solution: Use escape pods” “Sure”, Smokescreen said following her down the corridor. ‘ She sure is weird. But I like her’, he thought as they walked along. She stopped and put a servo up to motion for him to stop. They hid behind a wall as 2 vehicons shuffled down the walkway. “So where are you from?”, Smokescreen asked trying to strike up some conversion. “Origination Point: Wheeljack’s lab”, she responded. ‘So, she must be that experimental prototype that Wheeljack was inventing’ “So you didn’t come from the well of Allsparks”. “No”, she said bluntly. “Well I’m from Autobot City and I was with the Elite Guard. I was helping to protect Alpha Trion when the Iacon Hall of Records was hit. I was drug here and have been in stasis lock until a few cycles ago. I gave the guards the slip and I ran into you and now we’re having this conversation”, he said as they entered the escape pod room. 2 pods were left. “Here you get in this one”, he said opening the door for her. Smokescreen opened his own door and got in. He glanced over at her and caught her staring. She looked away and he could have sworn he saw a rose colored shade forming in her cheekplates. “Well it was nice meeting you Starlight”

OKAYYY so I don’t know where Smokescreen is really from (I know I use Autobot City a lot but it was the first thing that came to mind :) And I know I haven’t been posting a lot because college has taken over my life but I’ll try and update as much as I can. Sorry in advance that this isnt very long I have a football game I need to get to in the next 30 minutes so I was rushing :D
