Very, very good question. Probably because, like in The Eel Effect, they get terribly sick from a certain chemical in the eel. Typhoomerangs benefit from that chemical, but not other dragons. If any other dragons ingest that chemical, they get the dragon variation of Eel Pox. So, the cure for them is the same as for humans EXCEPT the eel is not a present ingredient in their antidote.
