summer time sadness (stevie x the reader)

chapter 2 🌞

i woke up. today was the first day of summer break. finally. i looked at my phone and i had a lot of miss calls from my parents. i didn't care. i got up and showered. i wore ⤵️

grabbed my keys to my house and took a Uber to the mall.

once i arrived to the mall i started to look around. even tho i was 17 and living in LA alone i felt free. i knew how to drive but i didn't wanna risk anything since i didn't have a license.

i saw a store called "zuimez" and it seemed cool. i went in there and i saw a few things that caught my eye. there were different brands like Obey, Diamond Supply co, RipnDip, Thrasher, Spitfire. i thought they were all cool. i got a couple of sweaters and shirts. i looked in the back of the store to find skateboards. i desperately wanted one. so i got one. this was my skateboard ⤵️

i called an Uber back to my house. i put all my stuff down and i looked outside. there wasn't no one at the skate park. so i locked up my apartment and i went to the skate park. i put the skateboard down and i tried to ride it. i pushed with my right leg and fell. thank god no one was around bc I'd be hella embarrassed. i got back up and tried it again. i couldn't get it until like the 92829292 time. i found my balance and i was able to ride around. i got excited. there were ramps around so i decided to try a small one first and work my way up. i made the small ramp but then i tried the medium one and i fell and hit my knee really bad. i took my board and went home and took a long bath. i cleaned my cut that i got from the skate park and i went to sleep.

-the next morning-

I've been thinking about go back to school. so i was like why not. i went by a near by high school and signed myself in for next semester. i mean i only needed one semester left to be done with high school.

i looked out my window and i saw the skate park. there was only one boy there. i decided to go. i wore one of my ripndip shirts and blue jeans with vans.

once i got there the boy looked at me. he had bright blue eyes and light brown hair. he reminded me of stevie. i started to skate around. the boy just stared at me. i ignored it and tried the medium sized ramp again and i made it. in the pocket of my jeans i had my headphones so i listen to music while i skated. i sat down on my board for a bit. the boy left the skate park. i went to my house and took a shower since i was sweaty. i decided to go shopping again for more clothes since i needed to update my closet. i started to skate and i saw a thrift shop. i walk in and grab a cart. i put my skateboard in the cart and i started to browse through the clothing. i found many cute stripe shirts. cute jeans, vintage windbreakers. i even found a pair of vans. i paid for everything and went home.

i was really satisfied with everything i got. i went downstairs and washed all of the clothes.

i looked outside and it was dark. i looked at the skatepark and there was kind of a lot of people there so i decided to go.

there were 5 boys. the blue eyed boy was there. a boy with blond curly hair. a boy with a buzz cut. a guy with dreads. and lastly another one with a camera and he had blond hair.

i lay my board down and i started to skate. they all stared.

"she's a beginner." the ones with dreads say

"it's pretty obvious" the blond one said

i tried to do the big ramp now. i was scared. i went in for it and i made it. but then fell right after. one of the boys came up and helped me up.

"you good ?" the ones with dreads.

"yea thanks" i say embarrassed as shit

"my names ray... what's yours ?" he asked

"my name is y/n" i respond.

the one with the blonde curly hair walked up to me and ray.

"that's a cool ass name." the one with blonde curly hair says

"thank you... what's your name ?" i ask

"my name is fuckshit" he says

" i love your name" i say laughing.

ray and fuckshit started laughing.

"I'll see you guys later i have to go" i say

"see you around" i add

they both waved at me and i went home.

"she's hella chill, you guys should have met her" ray told the boys.
(no ones pov)
the boys were all interested and the all wanted to meet y/n. they all thought she was cool. they couldn't wait to meet her again.
