I felt my eyes open. Was that all a dream? Was I really not friends with Noah Jupe? I sighed sadly and turned over. Why couldn't my life be perfect? Why couldn't that dream be real?
"Are you awake?"
I felt my eyes widen in surprise.
Was that a British accent that I heard?
"What is your name?" I asked to the person. I could tell it was a male. "Um, are you testing me?" The person asked. I sighed. "Answer it," I said. The voice didn't hesitate to say it's name.
"Noah. Noah Jupe. How could you forget? Have you gone ballistic?" The boy said.
I sat up, face to face with Noah. "Oh, oh hey Noah." I stuttered. So it wasn't a dream! Maybe I just fell asleep. Maybe I'm in a dream from a dream? What was really happening? Noah sat on my bed next to me. "Why did you test me, Y/N?" He asked. I coughed to cover up the fact I might have thought being his friend was a dream. "Mm, I just wanted to know if you were - " Noah looked at me confused. "Were?" I smiled heartily. "If you were you." Noah grinned and rubbed my arm. I tingled lightly. "Yeah, babe. I'm still the same."
Wait-
WHAT?
Did he just call me BABE?
I think I really HAVE gone ballistic."W - What did you call me?" I asked, biting my lip. Noah realized what he just said and stopped all his quick motions for a few seconds before saying, "Erm, what do you mean?" I ignored that he clearly called me babe, and fell back on the bed. Noah scooted me over and repeated what I did, just lying on the bed silently. He scooted slightly closer, his black fleece sweater almost touching me.
"Y/N?"
"Yeah, Noah?"
"Will you ever leave me?"
