Chapter one

"Sidney hurry up!" Cam yelled from downstairs. He only ever calls me by my full name when he's either mad, or annoyed, and right now he seems to be pretty annoyed.

"I'm almost done! Five more minutes!" I shouted to him as I applied some lipgloss.

"You said that five minutes ago!" He yelled and I heard him quietly groan.

Setting my straightener down I looked up at my mirror. Puffing up my dark brown hair a bit and popping my lips I was finally ready.

As I walked out of my room I took a peak at my outfit one last time in my full length mirror. I was wearing a blank tank, light denim jeans and my red leather jacket. I also had on eyeliner that made my blue eyes pop.

Skipping downstairs I followed the smell of blueberry pancakes and found myself in my kitchen. Sitting on the table top and eating pancakes was my best friend Cameron.

He was wearing a light pink button up shirt and some black skinny jeans. His brown hair was pushed back revealing his creamy brown eyes.

Cam and I have been best friends since pre-school when I shared my cupcake with him. See cupcakes can buy friendships.

Our parents became friends when we started first grade and still are really good friends.

Jumping up on the table next to him I opened my mouth, telling him to feed me. He stabbed one of the blueberry pancakes and put it into my mouth. Smiling I chewed the delicious pancake savoring every inch of it.

"Lets go. We can't be late for our first day of our senior year." I smiled pulling Cam to the front door.

"Guess not." He groaned.

Slipping on my red pumps I opened the door and we walked to Cams pride and joy, his black Ferrari. Slinging his arm over my shoulder he smiled and guided me to his car.

I jumped over the door and into the passenger seat like a ninja. Cam shook his head at me and laughed.

"Someday your gonna hurt yourself."

"Oh shut up. I'm tough." I pouted and flexed my invisible muscles earning me a laugh.

The drive to school was short considering I only lived about a block away from hill mcCoy high- our school.

Cam opened the door for me and I stepped out of his car. Placing my arm through his we walked into school.

Walking through the hallway girls stared lovingly at cam and most gave me a dirty look. I just smiled back at them and kept walking.

"So what are we gonna do after school?" I asked Cam once we reached my locker.

"I actually have a fling." He smirked and winked at a random freshman in the hallway.

"Ahh I see." I laughed "how about after?"

See I've grown use to his one night stands or short relationships, known as his player ways. It doesn't bug me now as much as it use too. Considering my best friends a player.

"Ill come over after, promise." He kissed my cheek and sauntered over to his current fling.

Rolling my eyes I shook my head and opened my locker grabbing my algebra book. I walked across the hall and entered my pre-calculus classroom taking my usual seat in the back.

As soon as I took a seat the ones around me filled up with girls, mostly bimbos.

Before any of them could bombard me with questions or threats our teacher Mr. Williams walked in.
