I woke up the next mornig feeling better. The smell of waffles and smoothies filled the air. I quickly brushed my teeth and changed. I grabbed my plate and put 2 waffles on top. I put strawberry syrup on one waffle and maple syrup on the other. I got my mango smoothie and slowly walked to the car. I finished the strawberry syrup waffle in the car but I ate the other in school. Mrs. Gold let me drink my smoothie during class.

After lunch, I had freetime which apparently is everyday after lunch. I did my homework during freetime when that girl walked up to me. She told me that her name was Emily and that she was my special ed tutor. She looked up at me and said, "Hey! You're that guy that I saw at the hospital and bumped into me yesterday!" Then she looked like she was going to vomit. I can tell that it was because of my face...

"I'm Ed."

"Nice to," pause then weird sound, "meet you. Do you need help?"

"Nope."

"You got that wrong." Emily pointed to 2+2.

"Nuh uh. It's 34!"

"No it's 34-30."

"Ohhhh... 65"

"Minus 61."

"Uhhhhhh... Ummmmmm. Uhhhhh.... Thh... ree?"

"Plus one"

I used my finger to do that. "Ohhhhhh 4!"

"Yes. For every quetion you get right, you get a piece of candy,"

"Yayy!"

In the parking lot: I heard Emily talking. "That Ed boy is soo ugly.... And stupid! I didn't even give him one piece of candy! But he had to get it on the first two tries. I wish I picked someone else. I regret picking him. Ughhh."

I ran home.

At home: "Hi, Ed. How was school?"

"Stupid. I'm never going back!" Then I went to my room and slammed the door.

"Attitude," my sister sang.

"How was YOUR day, Miley?" my mom said.

As I listened to their conversation, I brought my recorder. I recorded it and heard, "He had a bad day, okay? No need to punish him for that."

"I HATE ED!" was the last thing I heard until my mom came in.
