Kate is a good, religious girl who's carrying a huge, guilty secret. The summer after her senior year of high school, she's a counselor at the religious summer camp she used to attend when she was younger. There, reconnects with fellow counselor Matt, the boy who was her first kiss at camp years before. As the summer progresses, Kate is forced to rethink everything she believes to be true.

Review:
Overall, I liked this book. Kate was likable, but it took some time to get used to because of how devoted she is to her religion. Other than that though, Miranda did a nice job portraying Kate's internal conflict regarding her secret, and her growing relationship with Matt. I haven't read 'Catching Jordan' or 'Stealing Parker' yet, and I would HIGHLY recommend reading those first before this one, because Jordan and Parker appear quite a few times in the story--Parker is a pretty main character. I felt I would've enjoyed the book a bit more if I had already read the other characters stories--so if you don't want spoilers for the other two books, read them first! You don't have to have read them in order to understand this one, though. While I didn't enjoy this book as much as the other Miranda Kenneally books I've read, I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a good contemporary read.
