Dear, dear friends,
I know it's hard to believe, but after weeks of silence, it's me. I apologise for the fact thatTori and Will has been discontinued for a little while; I know some of you enjoyed that story. But I assure you I'll be bringing you a new, better-written edition as soon as I can.
This, then, gives rise to the question of what I've been doing for the past couple of months. Here's my very exciting piece of news: I've been working on a brand-new project.
I think it might be the best work I've ever seen from myself, and it really, really speaks to me – after failing to finish projects in new genres like Fantasy and Chicklit, I've finally resolved to return to historical fiction. After the Lockhart series, I somehow feel more at home writing about the past than about the present, and so that's what I'll do for now. I'm not done with it quite yet, but as you can see, it's titled One for Cards, and I'm so, so excited to share it with you all.
Chapters won't be out quite yet, but for now, I have this note, a blurb and a prologue. I hope that satisfies you for the time being.
I hope you'll lend me your company as I embark on this journey. Some say writing is a lonely thing, but I never feel alone when I have all of you to join me on the ride. Your readership, your votes, and your comments all mean everything to me. With this project, I'm especially hoping to hear more from you guys, so do leave as many comments as you'd like/as you can. I'd love to know what you think and feel about this project, and constructive criticism is, as always, more than welcome.
