As the glowing moon rose, many birds squeaked in fright, when a woman in her mid twenties dashed through them, wearing a black leather jacket paired with tight black leggings and a black mask that covered her entire face.
She arrived at a worn out shack, and jogged in side, where a bald man, seemingly around his 40's had been patiently waiting for her. "I've been standing here for a long time Dahlia. What took you so long?"
His voice was smooth and flat, betraying any emotion and this scared the young lady.
"Sorry boss, it won't happen again." she spoke quietly, refusing to give a answer for his question.
He hummed in response and handed her a wrinkled paper filled with loopy cursive writing. She took it and smoothed it over as she scanned the paper. When finished reading, she nodded and tucked the paper inside her pockets.
"I presume you understood the terms and conditions for your objective?" he asked.
"Yes" she replied simply.
"If you wish to back down right now, you are free to do so, but if you back down in the middle of your job, consider yourself dead."
"Of course"
"Any questions?"
"No" Dahlia muttered, under her breath.
"Excellent. Once you completed your mission, you will be paid $6,000 dollars. I'm trusting you with a particularly special mission, do not ruin this. If so, there will be consequences."
Dahlia gulped, as fear gripped her.
The old man let out a small but noticeable smirk and left the shack, whistling his way out.
