I sat on the couch with Niall sitting to the left of me. We were alone at his shared flat with Liam and Zayn, because Liam was out with Danielle, Zayn was with Perrie, and Lou was with Eleanor. We were watching reruns of Friends and sharing a large bowl of popcorn with extra butter. Just the way I like it.

As the show continued, my thoughts drifted off to a certain crazy brown haired twenty year old. Who happened to be my best mate... who also happens to be the guy that I have a teeny crush on.

Okay. Teensy crush was the understatement of the century. I drooled over the man when he walked by. I watched him constantly. I knew what he was doing at all hours of the day. This is not just a teensy crush. I loved the man.

But what does it matter? Louis is straight. And has a girlfriend. Eleanor. Whom I am quite jealous of at the moment. They kiss, they cuddle, and they can do all sorts of couple-y things. If I had a dime for every time I wished that was me and not Eleanor, I'd be rich. I want to be able to miss him and hold him. But I can't.

The fact that hurts even more is that the fact that the two just announced that Eleanor was pregnant. When I heard the news I felt like punching a wall. I now I should have been happy for them. But I wasn't. I couldn't even bring myself to say congratulations to them. I was heartbroken and on top of that, I felt like a shitty friend.

"Hey mate, you okay?" I jumped at hearing Niall's Irish voice. I wiped my eyes, suddenly aware that I had been crying. "What's wrong?" Niall asked, putting a hand on my back.

"Uh... Yeah, I'm fine." I said, my voice cracking as I did so. "Nothing's wrong."

"Well, the show is over." he stated and I realized some new Nick@Nite show was on. "I'm just going to change and go to bed."

I then realized it was 1am. I nodded to Niall as I stood up to go to the bathroom. "I don't feel like driving home, I'm just gonna crash on the couch." I said before locking myself in the bathroom. I turned on the water on and splashed my face with some, trying to relax myself.
