I'm the College Emo....WHAT?! (Book 2)

Prologue

You guys asked for it, so here it is! :D This is the sequel to my first emo book, so if you haven't read it go check that out c: I'm gonna try to make this good and I'm gonna be dedicated to this one more than my first one because I just wasn't dedicated to it at all xD The prologue is kinda short, but bear with me here. ~Prologue~

"So this is it?" 

"This is it." Aaron replied to my question in mere seconds, excitement building in his voice. We stared in awe at the place we would call home from here on out. 

Bishville University.

Yeah, yeah, I know it's a weird name. When Aaron first brought up this place when we were discussing colleges to attend, I thought he said "Bitchville"...but that's beside the point.

I pull away from my trance and look over at Aaron. He was still taking in the scenery of the place, like a kid in a candy shop. I couldn't help but snicker to myself, but I also couldn't blame him. The place was huge! It looked like one of those fancy schools that all the rich kids go to. Trees and assorted flowers were decorated all around the place to give us a warm welcome. Freshmen like us were scattered about the place, enjoying the view. I must say, I am impressed.

I suddenly felt Aaron's arm wrap around my shoulders. I look up at him slowly and he smiles down at me. Aaron was a few inches taller than me, which is an instant turn on. He hasn't changed a bit though. His messy brown hair was the same as always, and his blue green eyes stared into my boring hazel ones. He will always be a cutie.

"Are you ready to check out the place?" He said after what seemed like hours. I simply nodded and followed after Aaron as he pulled me along.

It's true, I am excited about this place, but I can't help but worry. Getting away from my hometown was what I always longed for, but when Aaron came along my motives changed.  

When my friend started spreading rumors about me my sophomore year of high school, I went from being a pretty popular girl to a total "emo" as I was told. I never really considered myself that, but a lot of people did. I lost almost, if not all, of my friends and I basically had no hope left.

Then Aaron came into my life. He was the perfect boy, all the girls loved him, but he chose me. The thought of a boy ever liking me bewildered me, but eventually Aaron inspired me to become myself again. I'm still not sure if he wanted me to not be "emo" anymore, but I think it was for the better.

Anyway, I honestly never thought about going to college until Aaron brought it up. I knew it had been on his mind for a while, so I had no choice but to come here with him. I know that Aaron is more excited than me. I'm just nervous because this is such a big change in my life. I don't know if I'll enjoy it here or not, but Aaron's always made good grades, so hopefully I can do the same. 

We finally arrived at the entrance of the college. Aaron peeked at me with anticipation, which followed with a genuine smile from me. He eagerly opened the door and took a few steps in, while still holding my hand. 

The place was still huge, no surprise there, but it looked very modern. Various paintings, pictures, and plants livened up the place. I saw staircases leading up and down the floors. Of course this was just one of many buildings on the campus, but I was still pleasantly surprised. People crowded all around the place trying to get a good look. The surprise and enthusiasm on their faces made me chuckle. It looked exactly like the reaction Aaron had about it.

It just made me wonder. Maybe this place won't be so bad after all.
