It's a bit later in the afternoon when jeongguk got a text. Just some work. He sighed. He was restless? Maybe. Taehyung texted him yesterday but that's it. Not that he was expecting something duh. He kept his phone aside and continued with his work. The new session was about to start so work was tiring. Jin told him about his board rounds so it was possible from him to be late. He had to pick Eunwoo. He needed to complete his work soon to make it Eunwoo's after school on time.

Sometimes he felt weak, maybe it was just he needed support. Of course, Jin was always there and so was his mum but he himself took the responsibility of the kids, he promised his brother, and always wanted to withstand his promise but sometimes it just was so difficult. Eunwoo was young and Jaehyun didn't adjust to the change? maybe. He wanted to share his thoughts, his words with someone. He sometimes craved for someone to hold him or comfort him. After his brother, Jin hyung gave him all the advice one would want from their elders. But in the middle of balancing his life and taking more responsibility it kind of misbalanced.

He never wanted to burden anyone. When Jin introduced him to Hoseok, he always treated him like his family member, a brother. Something was always hollow. Eunwoo and Jaehyun gave him all the happiness in the world. Maybe that's the reason he never regretted any of his decisions.

Spending a night with Taehyung, something changed. He felt relieved with him. The hug, the kiss. It struck. Maybe it was just 'in the moment' thing but it left him in the middle of nowhere. Maybe if he tried he could have been with someone else. After his ex, he just thought relationships were not his thing.

Back in his office, he was just about to complete his work when he checked the time. It was something around 5:30 pm. Eunwoo's school ended half an hour ago.

Damn, he was in trouble.

**********************************************************

No one was to be seen. The school ground was empty.

shit.shit.shit.shit

He ran towards his class. It was locked.

"Ughh, what is wrong with me? I knew I had to pick him up today. Ahhh" He was frustrated. Suddenly he noticed a kid on a swing in the KG ground. It was Eunwoo.

Thank god

He ran towards but then slowed down. He silently took the swing next to him.

"Bad uncle" said Eunwoo looking down at his water bottle which was around his neck.

Jeongguk felt bad, he did upset his baby.

"I am so sorry baby. I know I am bad but can you please uncle one last chance? Uncle Jin had work today so he asked me to pick you up but I had so much that I forgot." he knew it wasn't a valid reason.

"You kn-know that Eunwoo won a drawing competition today in class and Eunwoo was so happy and excited to tell uncle jin and ggukkie but no one came to take me and I cried a bit no one saw me so it okay but I am still sad now" Eunwoo said as his lower lip wobbled.

Guk cooed at the site. His baby was sad and was on the verge of crying. He stood up and sat on the ground in front of him.

"Can Eunwoo forgive his gukkie?" He made his pouty face with big eyes which made Eunwoo laugh a bit.

"Don't make that face!" he laughed."That's my face~"Eunwoo whined.

He jumped down the swing and went directly to hug jeongguk. He hugged him back and pulled him close. "I forgive you ggukie but please don't forget me next time."
