Law X Reader ~ Tattoo

Crimson

~~Time skip from the park to your apartment~~

You laid down on your bed thinking about finally being able to leave the island, have crew members...they could even be like family, even though you weren't in charge as the captain you felt you could still find happiness.

You began to pack your things into your bag(s), but then remembered about the tattoo on your back. Law could fix it right...? You grabbed the photograph of you and Corazon together when you were a child and when he was alive. You dusted it off and placed it on the top of your bag and closed it. You left out one pair of clothes so you could wear it while you were on the...ship? You thought he said something about a submarine. Strange...

Tomorrow will be the day, the day I don't have to suffer on this island. I don't have to be alone, I hope.

There was one thing you had to say goodbye to. You walked out of your apartment, and to the elevator. You pressed '1' so you could go to the bottom floor. You went down by the coast where 'his' cave was. "Crimson where are you?!" you yelled. He squaked in response you turned your head left of where you were looking. "Crimson, I finally found a home, a-a-a crew people who will love me for who I am." You didn't want to say that you wouldn't be lonely anymore to your bird but you still felt like you were.

You but you head to your red birds giant beak and sighed "I wish I could take you with me." You said. "Wait, I never asked if you could come! I'll be back Crimson" you said and ran out of the cave and back to your apartment complex. It was easier to get back and forth during the day but a few days ago it was raining and rain wasn't on you good side. You hopped into the elevator and pressed 6 to go to you and Law's floor. You knocked on Law's door rapidly out of breath hoping he wasn't asleep yet.

The door began to open and you saw Bepo "Whoa you seem a lot bigger than yesterday, Bepo. Do you know where Law is?" Bepo nodded and opened the door more so you could come in. His place was a mess from last time you were here and you saw Law and Penguin you assumed because of his hat fighting and chasing each other all over or something. "Law," you said in a shy voice. He looked up and walked over to you.

"Let's talk elsewhere" he said giving a glare at Penguin. You walked to your apartment it was much more empty because you packed. He followed you to the living room and you both sat down on the couch.

"So, since we're going tomorrow, I went to say goodbye to my..bird, Crimson, he means a lot to me..this might be a crazy thought but, could we..bring him with us?" You asked extremely scared of what Law would say.

"How big is he?" Law asked maybe to make sure he would be able to fit on the submarine?

"I can bring you to him." You said getting up. "Follow me."

You walked Law to the coast where his cave was located. It was getting darker so the street lights began to turn on. Law seemed slightly more aware now. "What's wrong, Law?" You asked him noticing he was tensed up.

"There's thugs that come around the streets at night, to rob the weaker ones." He said.

"Oh, then I guess you'll have protect me." You winked at him, you weren't scared at all, neither was Law, he just didn't want you getting hurt. You didn't know that though.

He followed you into the cave where your bird lived, "Crimson~" you called, your bright red bird squaked as a response and walked over to you. You turned to Law and tilted your head to the side slightly. "So, can we bring him?" You asked with tears forming in your eyes at the though of losing your best friend.

You made Law feel bad with the tears so he had no option other than "yes." You ran over to Law and trapped him in a hug with your hands around his neck. He actually hugged back which surprised you with his hands around your lower back and waist loosely.

You moved your hands from his neck to his back and snuggled your head into his chest. Your bird wanted to join in so he stuffed his beak in between the two of you. You separated form him, "Sorry I got to carried away" you said scratching the back of your head and putting your hands on both sides of Crimsons beak. "I'll see you tomorrow, Crimson" you whispered.

You and Law headed back the Dank Meme Apartment Complex, but on the way there you saw Law's tattoo shop. "Hey Law, are you just gonna give up your job?" He looked at you and stopped.

"Why, does that really concern you?" He asked as you looked at him.

"Well yeah, if it's something you like to do then you should continue to do that." You said with a slight smile.

"Well it's not like I'm going to put a complete stop to it." He said. "I won't be able to do it frequently over seas." You nodded as you both continued to walk.

You and Law entered the apartment complex and walk through separate doors after entering each of you said "goodbye." You flopped down on your bed and drifted off to sleep.

A/N, listen OK this chapter was a short boy, BUT I'm making a valentine special ;)
