I kept trying to breath, my lungs felt like they were being torn apart. Dylan looked at me, with a panicked look on his face.
"SHIT SHIT SHIT" he muttered junping around "Luke!" he screamed.
He bursted through the door. "LILY WHATS GOING ON" i looked around, confused, untill i remebered, that me, i was Lily. " what do i do?" i pointed to my lips and my and put a hand on my cheast, tyring to show him i couldent breath.
"Do something, NOW" Dylan screached.
Sudennly i felt Lukes lips press onto mine, stopping my haggad breathing, and making me draw a breath when he fianaly parted away. I saw worry flash through his eyes, as he glanced at dylan whos eyes were black, He have me a sad smile and turned tword Dylan.
"what the fuck are you doing Luke!" Dylans body said, but it sounded deeper, harsher, and more masculine, then his already deep voice.
"its the only thing i could think of. it stops panic attacks." he said relitivly calm." See shes all better now." he gestured twords me. i stared at Dylan, his eyes flashing colors, as he clenched his firsts and practically growled.
"Dont EVER touch her again! understannd?" dylan stated, more like reasurance for himself, then an actual question.
" of couse not, alpha." he bowed " but she still needs your help, he nodded in my direction. His eyes instantly turned back to thier normal honey color and his voice less harsh.
"right" he mumbled sitting next to me. Luke took the moment to escape from Dylans wrath, and practically ran out of the cell.
"Im sorry i came off as a jerk" he said. " But this ware wolf thing is way more complicated then you think. There a rules for everyone. Rules i have to follow as an alpha, i dont think it would be a good idea for you to even stay he-" he rambled.
I cut him off with a quick brush of the lips. i opened my eyes, and saw he realese a breath, and breath out a low wow.
" then shoew me, all these laws, and customs. What it really means to be a warewolf" i said a small smile on my lips. " i really hate this cell"
"cell?" he finnaly looked around and stared at me embaressed. " right i forgot, ill get yuo a propper room" then he mumbled lowly, but i thought a heard at least for now.
He took my hand and up the elavator. i stared in amazment how many buttons were on the elavator, ranging from dungeon, to 26 floors. We stopped at the 8th floor and walked through huge double door.
I stared in amazement at what stood before me. At least a million book, all around, neatly organized, bookshelves, and massive comfy bean chairs. Out of the coner of my eye i saw him look at my, a small smile of his face, but his eyes misty, and regetful. i blushed realizing we were still hlding hands and dropped them, his smile wavered.
" Comen, lets teach you some history. We laid on the floor for hours, reading, telling me stories and laughing. I learned everything i could from the levels of authority, ranging from alpha to omega, about how mates worked, and sadly regection. i even learned about how the first warewolves had help form witches! Real witches!
Finnaly we saw the sun start fade throught he windows and decided to leave. Just before we got to the door i pulled him tword me, and gave him a real kiss. I ran my hands hrough his dark hair, and felt his hand along my cheek, and on the small of m back.
Then i heard a scream, and something fall. A tall, typical blonde girl stod thier, her starbucks frapachino spilled on the floor. she looked hurt and stared at Dylan.
"HOW COULD YOU! i knew you were a manwhore, but you promised i would be different! What bout the treaty! You are so selfish!" she finnished and turned to leave.
" i thought mates were forever and people would wait for thier mate." i said softly. " she said you were a manwhore, is it true?"
His solom stare at the floor proved it. i turned and ran to god knows where.
"Wait lily! " i stoped at the door "Remeber i have responsibilities as an alpha to my family and my pack!" i kept running
