“Once there was a boy. One night he dreamt of a girl. He was so completely love struck by this girl in his dream that when he woke up, he rushed to his brother to ask him to draw her. His brother sleepily grabbed the paper and pencil that the boy thrust towards him and got to work. The boy pointed out all the little details and after a while of erasing and re-drawing, it was finished. The boy had his own picture of her that he could look at whenever he wanted. He wasn't quite sure who she was, but he knew that he loved her. The girl on the other hand had also dreamt of the boy, but as she couldn't draw and didn't want to tell anyone about her dreams, she took to the internet to look for him. He produced his own music so it wasn't that hard to find him. She was quite a fan of his music and the more she listened to the songs, she realized that some of the songs were about her. The lyrics had an overarching theme of seeing someone in dreams, but not being able to grasp them. She knew that it was a sign and that she wasn't imagining things. They felt that destiny was pushing them together, as they lived on different sides of the world. The boy and the girl always thought of ways they could meet each other, every plan having a flaw. The girl only knew the country the boy lived in and the boy didn't know anything about her whereabouts. One day the girl saw a concert advertised online, and the boy was performing! She was so ecstatic that she immediately got tickets to the nearest show to her. It would be a bit of a road trip but she knew this was worth it. As the days leading up to the concert dragged by, the boy had more dreams of meeting the girl and he took this as a sign that they would meet soon. He didn't want to get his hopes up so he didn't tell his brother, whom he had been sharing his dreams to. The day of the concert finally came and the girl set off. The concert was at 8 pm and she lived about 5 hours away so she had to get an early start so she could sight see around before the concert. The boy was rehearsing for the concert, not knowing that the girl would show up to see him. He put the drawing in his pocket for good luck before stepping out onto the stage. The girl had the time of her life singing and dancing around to the songs and the boy had a great time performing them. At one point they made eye contact with each other and just stared a bit, not knowing if it was real or not. The boy had to keep performing as the show wasn't over yet so he just passed it off as imagining things. After the show the boy was walking down the hall to the dressing rooms. The girl walked down the hall looking for the bathrooms and came across a folded up piece of paper. She picked it up and opened it to see a picture of her. She couldn't believe her eyes and didn't know where it came from. As she was standing in the hallway with the drawing in her hand the boy had just realized that it was missing. He walked out of the dressing room to see her standing there. She looked up at the sound of the door opening and they stared at each other with wide eyes. They were attracted to each other like magnets knowing that they had found their true love. No words were needed as they embraced, love radiating off of them so much you could practically see it. After years of dreaming and waiting, they were finally together. When they pulled away they had the biggest smiles on their faces, the boy asked the girl her name and they exchanged phone numbers. They went to a café nearby to talk things over and just to enjoy each others company. They dated for another year or so until he proposed to her. She burst into tears and choked out a yes. The wedding was a few months later and it was like a fairytale. Shortly after they had a little baby girl. And they lived happily ever after. The end.”
“Goodnight Princess.” the mother cooed to her daughter who was asleep in bed.
As she walked down the hallway to her bedroom she looked at the framed drawing on the wall next to her wedding photo. She smiled and crawled into bed next to her husband.
