Stiles scratched the back of his head and yawned loudly.
He fought with his brain to relieve his eyes as he walked out of the building and loosened his tie.
He'd been employed by the FBI for over a year now, but he was still stuck with office work, which, to be honest, kind of pissed him off.
It was late by the time his shift ended, and there wasn't a cab in sight.
Which meant he had to walk. Again.

Stiles sighed as he miserably slouched his shoulders and began his trek home. He moaned to himself as rain started to drizzle, soon soaking his only decent shirt.
He sweated under his breath as he kicked litter on the sidewalk away with his shoe, making his way to his cheap, crappy apartment.

He absolutely despised living in the city, and missed Beacon Hills.
He often thought about the fact that what he had admitted to Malia as his deepest fear at the Senior Scribe, was just about true.
He hardly talked to any of his high school friends anymore.
He barely talk to Liam, to Kira, to Malia, to Lydia, to Derek, or even Scott.

Stiles smiled to himself as he mentally evaluated his old friends.
He remembered when he used to have the stupidest crush on Derek Hale.
He could barely keep his composure that one time when he collapsed on Derek at the Sheriff's Station when Matt had paralysed them both.
He laughed quietly at the memory, then frowned at the thought that he wouldn't have such good times again.

Stiles passed by an unfamiliar alleyway, and his head turned to look down it.
There was something about it... it was so... eerie.
And a familiar type of eerie at that.
Stiles stopped walking, then turned in the direction of the alley and slowly stepped forward, to see what was at the end.

Suddenly, Stiles felt unnerved. Like... he felt a presence.
His skin felt cold, and his arms suddenly got major goosebumps.
He narrowed his eyes in an attempt to see better, holding his breath and remaining silent.
He felt a something so familiar, such a strong sense of terrifying deja vu.
I scared him.
He was just about to walk away.

Until something leaped out at him.

So, this is gonna be pretty short. I know that I'm not very experienced at writing, or much good at it 😂
But I'm trying 👍🏻
