Real Life Sucks

Chapter 2: A Child's Life

  Well life isn't much different then the whole bullying thing. My life just really sucks.

                                                7 Years earlier

     "Cole ,he isn't going to make it." My parents broke the news to me. Tears swelled in my eyes.

     I only just about turned eight. I was happy and enjoyed life with my cousin Jake. He was only about six months older than me. We hung out, played games, and were best friends.

     About a month after my birthday, Jake was diagnosed with cancer. He had brain tumor.

     We made the most of the time we had left together.

                                              1 Month later

     Jake's brain tumor had gotten to the point to where he couldn't walk or talk. He had to be in a wheelchair. He only knew a couple signs for sign language. That was the only way he could communicate.

       We still hung out as much as we could though. His brain tumor didn't stop us. We stuck together through everything. Then ,one day.

        "Cole ,he isn't going to make it." my parents explained. Tears started to swell in my eyes. Half of me knew it was true ,but the other half wanted to believe differently. I cried and cried.

                                               3 Weeks later

         My family and I went to visit Jake at their house. We stayed for the weekend.

         When we where leaving on Sunday ,I was truly struck. When I was telling him good bye ,he lifted up his hand. He then made a sign with his hand. He said I love you in sign language. Tears came back ,but I wouldn't allow them to escape.

           We then left. And that was the last time I ever saw him.

                                 7 Years later (back to the present)

             So as you can see my life SUCKS.
