Unthinkable

In The Beginning...

Jess and Justin have been best friends a little over 7 years. Throughout the duration of their friendship, romantic connections were never established between them, however, they were always at each other's beck and call and been there for each other through thick and thin, ups and downs, no matter the situation.

Their friendship was very genuine.

Jess was a simple brunette with crazy curls that would fall onto the frame of her face, her pretty eyes could put you in a trans and her soft skin would make it hard for someone to keep their hands off of her. She was a bookworm, always reading, but the girl also knew how to have a good time and her age of only 17 never seemed to be a question to a lot that encountered her presence because she had a naturally mature aura about her. However, she was a very sensitive girl indeed. She always put others before herself, hoping that she can be there for others in every way possible that sometimes she would neglect herself and her feelings which would eventually overwhelm her resulting in frequent breakdowns.

Justin on the other hand, was a tall, lean fellow, with a smile so bright that not even the sun could compete with him. His features were chiseled and his frame was a work of art. He had a tender, yet aggressive way about him that would make anyone fall in love. He was not a fighter, but he was not a lover either.

Even though they never viewed each other under a romantic light. It almost seemed as though they were purposefully oblivious to each other in that aspect.

Jess had been involved with a few guys aback, but unfortunately, her attempts to love always ended with her in tears. She always found comfort in the hands of her best friend, Justin. Sometimes, she just needs to be entangled in his arms receiving warm hugs and sometimes she's seeking comfort in his words. He never missed a single moment that she needed him.

He was her support system.

Always made sure she was okay, built her back up and made sure she knew her worth.

He hated to see her sad.

Justin also dated a few girls, but he was a heartbreaker, so they never lasted long. He was never one to be involved in anything serious. It may have even come across like he was afraid of commitment.

While Jess and Justin are amongst their friends, they are viewed as two peas in a pod but they never paid any mind to silly statements like that. They were both very carefree and fun while they were in the midst of their friends. No one else knew them the way they knew each other and that was quite fine with both of them.

Jess told all her secrets to Justin, as did Justin to her. They were like a forever couple that weren't a couple.

Jess was dating this guy, who seemed very caring and compassionate at first but turned out to be very, ignorant and violent at times. His name was Ash, he never actually hit her, but he mostly gestured to it.
