*alarm goes off*
"I'm up I'm up damn clock."

My name is eren yeager I am 17 years old and I'm going to be a senior as soon as school begins again.I attend a private school I have two jobs one being a mechanic and two working for this very wealthy and very kind family known as the Ackerman's they're a very respected amongst the town but mostly the family is known for throwing these humongous parties every summer which most of the town as well as the other wealthy families in the town and they also only have one child named mikasa she's in the same grade as me and of course the popular girl at school but for me I'm not rich I'm actually quite the opposite I live in a small house a house that my father built when he got engaged with my mother. He was a doctor a mechanic he taught me a few things when I was 8 but he died when a drunk driver crashed into him and he left us money but half of it was put in to the private school so I can attend but after my father died she was very depressed she would stay in bed most of the day I would hear her cry during the night and I had to fight back the tears every time I went to bed he would provide for our family so I had to step up and get a job which I did at this mechanic place that's owned by Gunther and eld both are really cool guys. But I also wanted another job during the summer since the shop is open only 3 days of the week and one day when I was looking over options for another job there was a knock on the door I was alone at the time since my mother found a job working at this elderly lady garden it's a small garden with one of a kind flowers my mother enjoys it and it calms her. When mr.ackerman knocked on my door he asked for my help with his car since he was hearing something strange she was standing behind him I waved to her awkwardly and she waved back we never talked at the school even though we both sit next to each other in class. And when I pointed out the problem,mr.ackerman thanked me and gave me 500 dollars for helping out. He then asked me if was looking for a job and I said I was and he told me he needed a pool boy and I suppose a personal mechanic. But I also clean some of the rooms of their mansion. And I get payed 18 dollars an hour which is a lot so I spend most of my time there since I don't mind the work. I would occasionally see mikasa walk through the hallways she would wave at me or even sometimes say hi and I say hi back. She likes to paint and draw since sometimes I see her covered in paint or with a sketch book in hand. But when I do have a day off I spend most of my time at the beach we have behind or house it's really beautiful I can see why my father wanted to build it there. I remember my father and my mother would plant sunflower seeds near the beach and they would grow so tall but when he died we stopped but I didn't want to let it stop so every summer I would plant sunflower seeds and they would grow just as tall. But one thing I do hate are Mikasa friends a bunch of rich assholes especially these guys named Reiner, jean, bertholdt and floch. Some of the girls were just as bad as them. So I never made an attempt at talking to mikasa since one she's always surrounded by them and two she might be the same as them. But in reality most of the kids are like that at the private school I attend but except this guy named armin he's my best friend he's a very good guy he was actually the first one to talk to me when I moved from public schools to a private school and we both have some of the same interests in music,shows, anime etc. But for now my mother and I are doing okay not great but okay.

As I was cleaning the floor where the front doors were I take a look at my watch and saw that it was 4:30 pm.

"Crap." I muttered.

I needed to hurry to go get the sunflower seeds since I haven't got a chance. So I quickly threw the mop back into the closet and I was about to walk out until.

"Eren where are you going?" Mr.ackerman said smiling.

"Oh sorry sir but I'm gonna have to leave for a bit."

"Oh, for what reason?"

"Well I need to go into town and buy these sunflower seeds at the flower shop I always get them from and they're gonna close soon so I need to get there quick."
