𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓹𝓽𝓮𝓻 𝓞𝓷𝓮: THE NEWS

it was just a regular morning routine for donghyuck. wake up to the alarm at five in the morning, shower for a few minutes, change into stylish clothing, soft makeup to match his style, and soon eating, brushing his teeth afterwards.

but this morning went differently.

as the eighteen year old boy finished putting on a light shade of blush on his already rosy cheeks, he walked downstairs to say good morning to his parents.

"good morning mom, dad!"

"good morning honey", his mother replied while his father just ignored.

as usual, the boy thought in his head of course not trying to get hit although that has never happened.

he walked over to the kitchen and grabbed some fruity pebbles that were just on the shelf that he had to tiptoe to reach and went into the refrigerator to grab the jug of milk to pour in the bowl and spoon he'd just grabbed.

"hyuck, what are you doing ?" his sweet mother asked in her honeyㅡlike voice.

donghyuck being confused chuckled and answered, "going to eat cereal for school mom, what else would i do ?"

his mother got up from eating before going to work and walked up to her son.

"your father hasn't told you?"

"uhm.. told me what exactly?", the male asked.

the young lady turned around and glared at her husband, "you haven't told him ? he's all dressed up and woke up this early for nothing, hajoon"

"oh, i was suppsoed too? you never told me to tell our..  donghyuck anything, seo-yeon" his father spoke, not be able to spit out his name as if his name was some sort of sickness.

donghyuck really doesn't know why his father does not like him at all, he has always been like this since he was young. maybe he didn't want him? or maybe it's just something that would be too personal to ask.

"of course you were, i told youㅡyou know what forget it," his mother gave up and continued to talk to her son, "sweetie, you're moving to jinhae to get a better education !"

donghyuck was in shock, as in his mouth hung opened as his eyes widened.

"n-no i can't move ! jeju is my home ! i-i just can't for my education.. what about my friends ?", he gloomed.

".. it's not like you even had any on the first place. they were going to leave you someday anyways..", his father, if he would even call him that anymore, spoke up.

"hey! don't put any negativity in this situation, look honey i know it might be hard to process what's happening but on the bright side you get to meet new pals there. you're "friends" here don't treat you rather well too..", she softly spoke.

donghyuck looked down. "okay.. but please tell me you're going to !"

the fragile, but strong woman sighed and pulled her son's chin up and smiled weakly, "i'm sorry baby, it's just you. the good thing though is that we fixed your luggage so you don't have to worry about anything. and when i say we i mean just myself."

donghyuck frowned and nodded, "alright. when do i leave?"

if he was going to leave he had to know when and what hour.

seo-yeon looked at the clock that's hanging on their wall and answered, "in three hours actually.."

she hugged her son and kissed his forehead. "don't worry, we'll check on you when you're over there! i also put in your luggage where your apartment is and what school your newly enrolled in okay?"

the younger male nodded and smiled, "okay!"

and from that day on, he never knew his life was going to change because of his new high school he'll be in.
