alice's pov: last night scared me. it wasn't like fp to not use protection. that was the only thing running through my mind all day. "hey mom?" betty said. "y-yeah?" i said. "jughead and i are going to pops" she told me. "ok honey have fun." i called fp. "hello?" he said. "fp" i said. "i- think" i got cut off by whooping and hollering. he was at another serpents meeting. "never mind, talk later" i said and hung up. about an hour later fp came home. "where's betty and jug?" he said. "pops" i replied. "you okay honey?" fp said with concern. "fp" i sighed. "i think i'm pregnant" i started to sob. he looked at me in shock. "oh alice" he exclaimed. "this is amazing if it is true" he smiled. i gave him a weak smile. "should i get a pregnancy test?" i asked. "i mean- yes!" fp said with joy. i didn't expect him to react the way he was. especially because he just got through with gladys about eight months ago. but i knew that he loved me and that i was the one he wanted. "oh babe this is great" fp exclaimed. "what's great?" jughead said as he walked through the door. "boy what are you doing home so early?" fp raised his voice. "calm down" i whispered clutching his arm, my nose resting on his shoulder. "veronica bailed on us" betty said questionably as she walked in as well. "betty" alice sighed. "can you give me and fp time?" i requested. she nodded and looked at me weird while grabbing jug's hand. they went upstairs. "ok" i whispered as i kissed fp on the lips. "alice" he sighed. "you're so beautiful and whatever this throws at us i'm ready to face it with you and only you" he kissed me again and we made out for a while. this was a new beginning.
