We help take Hunter's stuff up to his room. The rooms are painted with trendy colors and styles.

Hunter's room is dark gray and has a wooden American flag on the wall. Rick, my mom, and I spent a weekend painting and decorating the room. My mom is the creative director for a lifestyle magazine in Austin, so she knowa all the decorating trends.

Once we get everything up to his room, we give him the grand tour. We show him the game room, upstairs sitting area with a pool table and an air hockey table, and all the rooms

"The upstairs is basically ours" I tell Hunter. "There's just our rooms and the sitting area. "

"Don't forget my room. Stay out by the way." Peyton says.

"Oh yeah I forgot. Peyton stays over so often she basically has her own room. It's the guest room but she claimed it as hers. "

We continue the tour by showing him the rest of the house thats downstairs.

"So here you have the family room. The kitchen is behind you and the dining room is to the side of it. And down that hallway is the master bedroom. Try not to get lost." I say jokingly at the end.

Hunter just nods and goes to sit down on the sofa on his phone. By now it is almost four.

"Hey Peyton, I gotta go take my little brother to practice. Are you good staying here or do you need a ride back?" Austin asks.

"I'm good staying here. Mamma J has practically adopted me." Peyton jokes.

"See you guys Monday. " Austin says has he waves to Peyton and then gives me a hug good bye.

Once he is out the door we run up to my room. My room is white with a gray wood accent wall. I have aqua curtains and pillows to add some color.

"He likes you." Peyton states as if it's a fact.

"No he doesn't. You're just saying that because you know I have a tiny crush on him. Besides I'm like his sister."

"So what. It's not like you all are related. Speaking of which your stepbrother is hot."

"Really Peyton. You have known him for like what 2 hours and already planning on him as your next fuck buddy. He's my stepbrother for christ sake. "

"I never said that."

"But you were thinking it."

"Get out of my head."

"It's not my fault your so predictable."

"Atleast I know what I want."

I stick my tongue out at her like a child. She starts to laugh and I shove her off my bed. She lands with a thud and we start laughing harder. There is a knock on the door. "I was told to tell you dinner is ready," Hunter tells us grumpily opening the door slightly.

"Yay food!" Peyton yells.

She get's up off the floor and shoves me off the bed as she rushes to the door almost trampling Hunter. I quickly get up and race after her.

If she gets to the table before me, she does something to mess with me most of the time.

I manage to catch a to Peyton and we are about to enter the dining room. I shove her to the side and race to my seat. Once I'm seated I smile at her like I did nothing wrong.

My mom starts laughing at our dinner ritual. Rick is just staring at us like we are insane. Hunter hasn't even made it to the table yet. "Welcome to the family" Peyton and I say in unison.

Rick has meet Peyton before but he has never had dinner with her before. "Don't mind them they have have this tradition." My mom tells Rick.

The dinner is uneventful. Rick and my mom were very excited about us living together finally. Hunter seemed like he could care less. My mom made chicken avocado roll ups. She is into food trends and anything trendy really. "Hunter, I was thinking that you would start school on Monday. That gives you a day to get settled in" my mom says.

He just nods. Rick nudges him in the ribs. "That sounds good," Hunter replies faking a smile.

"I'm sure Ryan and Peyton can show you around. Right girls."

"Yea, sure" I say.

"Do you do any sports, Hunter?" my mom asks.

"Soccer."

"Well the high school has a pretty good soccer team. I'm sure you'll enjoy it."

After dinner Peyton and I go upon to watch some Netflix. Eventually Peyton decides to go to bed after stealing some of my clothes. I follow soon after.
