Endings are new beginnings

After coming inside my house soaking wet . I realized I had a lot of explaining to give my Mother . She would probably bite my head off for the wet mess but oh well . I am 20 years old and living with Mother and my 2 teen brothers Henry and Victor.

They know . Everyone in the pack knows now about Seth and I .

I know the basic questions and pity comments I am going to receive very soon. I don't want this . I just want to forget last night . The pack meeting was over as soon as it began. Leaving Seth with no say in the matter . He was to marry the Grey packs last heir . Her father was murdered a few weeks ago while he was in a business meeting out of state. He was poisoned by silver while eating at a restaurant with his luna . It was tragic news all around the country .

We live in a very odd world . Humans are easily sidetracked and that's how our kind have lived with out being revealed among with the other types of supernatural beings . They are all real . Humans are too scared of knowing truths and adapting to change . They're those who know of our kind and actually have a goal to wipe us out. As I said before they are scared and when someone is scared they feel threatened and act on impulse and harm others . We call them Shadow hunters . It's seem our kind are in hiatus. Alphas left to right are being set up and murdered . We have detectives on the cases but nothing new has come up.

I was always brought up by my Grandfather . A very strong simple man. He was the strongest werewolf I ever knew. When times hit rock bottom for me . I like to lay in the grass at night and stare out into the stars. Today , it seems like it was going to be one of those days .

I went into my room , looked for my sweats and a t shirt . Looking around my room at our pictures , smelling his scent in here was not helping my situation . I went to my bathroom and took a hot shower. I needed a new start . I can't look back now . Seth was my best friend . All my best memories had him wrapped in. Moving on was going to be hard. Especially see him with her .

Being a werewolf, I could hear my mother arguing with idiot brothers before coming in the house . "Now listen Henry .... Victor . This is serious ! Be understanding for once . You will know one day the pain of loving another . Now let's go in.."

Henry cut in " Mom ! Mom ! We get it. Okay ! "

Victor intervened "it's bullshit and you know it. Elie deserves more than this "

"What did I say about your cursing ! " mom said

They kept that up for about another 15 minutes til I got out the shower and dressed to open the door for them . And when I opened the door . Their faces were priceless .

"You can shut up now. I heard you guys all the way down the street . Jeeeze! I'm fine. I don't want any sympathy . There is nothing any one can do. " I looked at my mom. She stared at me and tried to come close. I just turned and ran up the stairs .

My brothers knew me. They know when I need my space and when to come to my aide . Now wasn't the time . I just want to sleep and sleep and wake up from this nightmare . My heart aches . I heard my cell phone ring and I turned it off. I look outside my window to see the moon and stars before I jump into bed .Just as I turned around ,I heard a howl . I knew that howl anywhere . Laying in bed I knew tomorrow was going to be my new beginning.
