The Formal

Willow POV:

I bolt awake as my ringtone echos through my room, I let out a groan as my eyes land on my phone, I pick it up and look at the caller ID, unknown caller, I sigh as I answer it

"Hello?" I say my voice full of sleepiness

"Willow sorry to wake you, but you have training with Kate in half an hour" a male voice says

"Mr Argeant?" I ask with a yawn

"Yes, just remember that Alison's training with you as well" he says and hangs up, oh shit, I quickly start run around my room starting to get ready, I grab my sports bag, some casual clothes for after, a towel, once I've packed all that I place the bag on my bed and quickly get into my baggy training shorts and my training crop top, I put on my sketches and run to the bathroom, I tie my hair in a high pony tail and wash my face free of sleepiness, I run back to my room and slide on my jacket, I grab my bag and run to the kitchen where I grab my drink bottle and fill it with cold water, I then grab my keys and run out to my car, I check the time, 4:40, I start my engine and step on the gas pedal, by the time I arrive it's 4:50, I grab my sports bag and walk up to the door, I calm my nerves and knock on the door

"Alison, go get that" Kate's voice calls out, the next minute the doorr is opened and Alison is there looking wide awake and ready for training, but also surprised

"Hey Willow" she greets with a smile

"Alison" I greet with a nod, she sighs and steps aside so I can walk in, I walk in just as Kate comes down the stairs

"Oh hey Willow, you're early, ten minutes early" Kate says with a smile

"Hey Kate" I say as I stand casually in the foyer

"Two words, that's all I get" she says with a smile as she comes up and hugs me, I hug her back feeling slightly awkward "Well at least we can start early, how good are you with a bow Willow?" She asks and I shrug

"I manage" I state as I follow after her next to Alison, from the corner of my eye I can see her glance at me occasionally, should I apologise, well why should I, she was the one being a whiney bitch, as soon as we stop we're in the basement, it has some stuff set up like fighting mats, punching bags and another flight of stairs leading outside

"Okay, cross bow or bow?" Kate asks as she hovers her hands over the weapons on the wall

"Bow" Alison an I say in unison, she nods and grabs twoo bows from the wall rack and two quivers of arrows, she leads us outside and into the woods where some targets are set up, she hands us and bow and quiver each

"I think its self-explainentry" she states as she moves out of the way and points to the target, Alison loads an arrow as I let out a yawn, maybe I should of suggested a later time, she fires it and hits the bullseye, I lean against a tree as she fires arrow after arrow, all of them hitting the bullseye, once she's all out she takes a step back and gestures me forward, I load an arrow of my own and after aiming I fire it, it hits straight in the bullseye, I repeat until I have one arrow left, I load it again and aim, but this time my targets different, a lone stag grazing not that far away, I release the arrow and hit it right in the side

"You missed" Alison states and I smirk in response

"I didn't" I reply simply as I start walking over to the deer with them following close behind me, once I reach it, it starts kicking and trying to get up "See, I didn't miss, I got what I aimed for" I add as I gesture to the stag
