I looked at her as she went out with that guy, Ian. It seems as though she's uncomfortable towards him but trying hard to be nice. What did Ian to do her?  I shook my head.

Before she goes, she looked back at the building and her gaze fell on me. I nodded at her in response and whispered something, "I'm sorry," I saw the look of confusion in her face but she tried to nod and smile at me as a response. Finally, she rode the car, with the guy and they drove off. I sighed. I stayed at the entrance and observed the people, everyone's busy.

I should probably take some rest. I thought to myself.

I greeted people along the way as I walked towards my room. I sat on my couch and immediately saw that painting. I laughed to myself, what love can really do to you. Rich people, even the famous ones are so interested in this painting, there have already been hundreds of bidding when it comes to this, but I refused all of them. It's just that, this painting holds back so many memories. I thought back to that time when I painted this, with all of my heart.

It was yet another tiring day. Not trying to be egoistical about it but I have to hide at times because of the amount of attention that I am getting from the people. I was walking down the corridor that day. We only had a week in school, most of the students decided not to go to school anymore. That's why I was so surprised, to see her there. She was gracefully connected with the water. I have fallen in love more. I smiled to myself and closed my eyes. Even if I did, I can still see her reflection. Beautiful.

I immediately hid when I heard her best friend, Jessica, shouted her name.

"Gabby!!!!" Jessica was so excited and I saw Gabrielle went out of the pool. I suddenly got worried as soon as I saw the sadness in her eyes.

I tried my best not to listen but I was already there, if I tried to get out, most probably they were going to see me.

"Okay then, get dressed now. Let's go treat you to your favorite cafe."

Ah, Gabrielle's favorite café.

"That's.. I got accepted!!!! We're going to go to the same university! I mean even though it's weird that you're choosing Tasmania out of all best states in here."

"Jess, I told you that my mom insisted about it. I don't even know why."

Ah, Tasmania. I already knew about that, but I didn't know the reason why she had to go all the way to Tasmania. That's why, out of all the best schools who offered me the best scholarships, I still chose Tasmania, since I want to be beside her.

That same day, I dropped by the café before going home. It wasn't my plan to join them but Jessica invited me to and that was the time, a memory that I will never forget.

I just can't forget the look on her eyes and I know that even if we barely talk, it seems like there's already a connection between us. I already knew that she can write when I first saw her, it sounds typical but it really happens.

Just at that time, we were talking about our passion and our future. I am not much of a talker especially if there are a lot of people around, but I can't help it when she's there. So, I acted all... smart, I guess.

"You know, people have desires that come from the heart and people act based on these desires. You just have to be bold to act upon it. The moment you realize what you want, you won't be able to stop yourself from doing it. It's just a combination of your desire and the courage in you," as I said these words, I saw how her expression suddenly shifted. I saw the look of courage in her eyes. She smiled at me and I felt something weird in my chest. I breathed in, slowly, without making it obvious.
