We're not all that special from all of you. The only huge difference in our worlds is that I'm water, you're on land. But, we all have a family, feelings, laws, abilities, food, natural disasters, and death. Not different at all. well, that's what I think anyway. There's a law in the underwater realm the "No merfolk should have been in contact with the world above. all merfolk should be in their fish form when in the near dry land. No, breaking any of the rules or it will be the end of your freedom" or whatever crap. Most of you, non-scales, think all we merfolk are just looking for love, screw love. we're looking for a way to protect our clans. And not all of us are girls, have you ever thought if we were boys, you'll never know.
The plant is small compared to the worlds beyond ours. With infinite Dimensions with some that do not have living things to help it. Most non-scales would assume that we don't know anything about but we know a lot. We know it's a cruel place out there, we know there are others like us, we're not like us but- you know what nevermind. But we also know about the ability prophecy. Once every seven years, merfolk from every tribe or clan come to hear about "The Ability Prophecy" of the new chosen ones. About a couple of years ago the TAP (the ability prophecy) chose 8 people each from different tribes and clans. (If you're wondering how many tribes and clans there are, there are exactly 3 tribes and 6 clans.) They all were wonderful people heart of gold or ice, with great power. During the there mission, something went wrong with one of the chosen people. He went chaotic, killing all of his team members. There are rumors that he was working with the Fallen Shadows of Lunar. Those who work with the fallen shadow of Lunar ( A.k.a TFSL) allow shaded souls into there bodies. you know how when you're in the sun and there's a shadow in front of or behind it's basically like that except the shadows have red eyes and can control you.
5 years later people have created a school for children who could be chosen for the next Tap. They created the school known as 'Winterville school for the gifted, ' Schools from different areas send children here for the TAP. those who have lived, from the dangerous journey, say many terrible things have happened. at one point someone said they lost half of there team members and had to return back home for failing the mission. Many others say they have encountered the male that killed all of his team members. that is why this school is being created for these reasons, to prepare them for TAP.
14 years passed after that and people still continue to fail the mission, no matter how hard they tried. Now it's time for my generation to die, and maybe if it doesn't turn out as bad were lucky to even fail the mission. Hey, if I'm lucky I might come back alive probably with a couple of broken bones and bruises. If I even live, to tell the tale that is.
Sometimes I think TAP was just some dumb joke to get people to risk their lives for something that probably doesn't even exist. And honestly, I rather but stuck in the water than risk my life for some dumb prophecy. I Just wished into never tapped into my world.
