this is also my first imagines book so please be nice !!
i slip through the crack of my parents front door, around midnight, softly closing the dark oak door. i quickly walk over to my car and unlock the door before slipping into the comfortable seats that i sink into. i start the car and turn the heater on full blast, the warm air instantly warming my chilled bones.
i shift the gear into drive and pull out of the long, winding, brick driveway. i turn the radio on, lowering the volume as i drive to town. i hum softly to the familiar tune on the radio and i sigh softly to myself.
i reach town quickly and i drive through town before i reach my destination. i pull into the small store that is dimly lighted and slightly run-down looking. i pull out my cell and quickly dial my best mates number. i listen to the rings and huff when she doesn't answer. i get out of my car and lock the car with a click of my keys.
i walk into the store and am pleased to see a familiar face. i walk up to her and wrap my arms around her. she struggles and pushes me off with a huff escaping her lips.
"you're so annoying," she says and grabs a bottle of cheap wine off the shelf. i roll my eyes and nudge her shoulder while wiggling my eyebrows
"you love me," i say in a sing song voice as we walk towards the front register to pay. she approaches the counter and sets the bottle down along with her fake i.d. while smiling brightly at the cashier
i watch them cautiously as he looks over her i.d. and scans the wine slowly while still looking at her. he bags the bottle up and hands her the sack along with her i.d.
"thank you!," she calls out to the man as i trail behind her like a lost child. we make our way out of the small store.
"we'll meet at the party yeah?," i say to her and turn towards for a spilt second to see her head nod in agreement. i wave and make my way back towards my car.
i slip into the car and clip my seatbelt in before pulling out of the parking lot. i tap my fingers on the steering wheel while i follow the gps guiding me to the location of the party.
i drive a little ways out before i pass a driveway lined with cars and people in the yard, laughing loudly and music coming from inside the house.
i park my car on the street beside the house so i don't get trapped in by all those cars. my cell vibrates in my pocket and i acccept the call before pressing the phone to my ear.
"hey where are you at?," i hear my mate yell through the phone.
"i just got here, ill meet you on the front porch okay?," i say and hear a quick mhm before the line disconnects. i make my way across the road before walking down the long, concrete driveway littered with cars.
i get to the front of the house and i see the person i came with. i make my way up to her and when she sees me she takes my hand and drags me into the house. i make my way through the bodies and finally reach a table that is filled with liquor of every type it seems.
i grab shots of unknown flavors and begin downing them as fast as i can. i laugh and drink more. i clench my eyes shut as the strong liquor burns my throat and stomach. i feel my face heat up and i grab onto the nearest person, dragging them into the direction of the music.
i start swaying my body to the beat of the song blasting over the speakers and lose myself in the music. i feel my eyelids droop and i stumble my way out of the overwhelming music. my head pounds and my feet ache from the heels im wearing. i reach down to take the shoes off and i lose my balance and plop down on the floor with a thump. i giggle and shake my head while running my hands over my face. i feel someone grip at my bare arms and i tug my arms, trying to escape their tight grip
