We walked into the room. The room was a reasonably sized room. Way bigger than my old one for sure. There was bed in the right-back corner to the right of a window. There were white sheets, blankets and pillows on it. Next to bed there was a lamp on a white nightstand. The window was about five feet tall by six feet wide. There were some pastel pink curtains tied back so the moonlight flooded into the room. A bookshelf was positioned to the left of the window and desk sat next to it. The desk was made of a tan-looking and empty just waiting for my clutter to cover it. The closet was on the back wall next to the door, open with hangers to hold my clothes."I'll just leave you to get settled into your room," Harry told me, left the room and closed the door. "Finally," I said in my head. As soon as he had closed the door, I ran to the far wall to look out the window.
The backyard looked like it went on forever. The grass was greener then I'd ever seen. On the left side there a huge garden. It was filled with flowers, hedges, and trees around the sides like pillars. A tall, shiny, bronze gate surrounded the garden. It was as high as two of me. At the edge, it exploded with giant pine trees. They were packed denser than sardines. The light from the moon shone over everything and into the window. It looked serene, like a painting. All that was missing was a lake. I finally realized how late it was probably around 11:00 pm. I yawned and looked over to the bed. I walked towards it , sluggish and fell forward towards the blanket. I tucked myself in and closed my eyes "Goodnight."
To be continued.
