Chapter 4

I was sitting in Cafe' Adore it was a nice little restaurant Ashley and I like to. I took a sip of my water when I notice Ashley walking through the door. I waved my hand for her to come over.

"How you doing Love?" Ashley said hugging me.

"I'm doing great!" I said hugging her back.

"Okay. So what going on with you? You seem different. Happy even."

"I well I brought you here cause I have some very exciting news." I said with the big smile on my face.

"OMG. Shay you pregnant!" Ashley yelled getting the people around us attention.

"No girl. But I'm getting MARRIED!" I yelled showing her my ring.

"Oh my god Arshay." She stared at me with a blank face. My smile slowly faded away.

"Why don't you seem happy for me?" I asked with a confused look on my face.

"Cause I don't think Dominic is someone you should be getting married to."

"What? You adore Dominic. Why shouldn't we get married? We been together for 5 years. So you tell me why can't you be happy for your little sister." I crossed my arms over my chest.

"I'm not happy for you because you and Dominic don't belong together. I know about the abuse, the cheating, and lies Arshay. You can't hide things like that from me. I'm your sister."

I chuckled. " You don't know shit about me and Dominic. Yeah he made some mistakes in the past but he trying to make it better. Starting with this wedding. You know I came here today to ask you to be my maid of honor, but you killed that idea with your jealously."

"Jealousy!" Ashley said cutting me off.

"Yes bitch jealousy! You can't stand the fact I'm getting married to someone as great as Dominic and you can even keep your baby daddy."

"Wow Shay." She looked me with sadness in her eyes.

"I'm sorry Ash I didnt mean to say that."

"Yes you did and know what. You think Dominic is so great but you don't even fuck know him." Her frown turned into any evil grin. "You should ask you future hubby where he go when he disappears for days at a time." She grabbed her purse and walked out the cafe'. Leaving me with my thoughts.

On the way home I couldn't think of nothing but what Ashley told me. Is Dominic still cheating on me and she know about it. No. He can't be. These past few days have been great. Dominic has been spending more time with me. He hasn't hit me. He even been coming home a decent time. Dominic has changed and whatever he did in the past is in the past.

"Bae!!" I yelled walking in the house.

"I'm in my office!" Dominic yelled

I walking down the hall to find Dominic's office door open. I walked in to find him working on some paper work.

"How was you lunch with Ashley?" He said without looking from his papers.

"It didn't go as well as I thought." I said sitting on his lap.

"Why you say that?"

"Um she wasn't happy. She say we don't belong together. Cause of all the things that happened in the past. I told her she was crazy. You won't of asked me to marry you if you didn't wanna change. Right?"

"Of course love. Ashley is just jealous cause you have everything that she wants. Don't worry bout her. She will get over it and could around. And if not then fuck her. You don't need someone like that in your life Arshay. All you need is me. I'm all you got." Dominic pecked my lips.

"Yeah maybe you right. But I'm going to get dinner ready I'm making your favorite."

"Um... Not tonight baby. I have some stuff I gotta handle." He told me.

"Okay well I guess I will just order a pizza or something." I said getting up and walking towards the door.

"Naw don't order a pizza. I don't want a fat bride at my wedding. You should go on a diet you been getting big lately." Dominic said looking at some papers.

"Right. A salad it is." I said walking out the office.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water. I lifted up my shirt to take a look at my stomach. Maybe Dominic was right I could go on a diet I am getting kinda big. I could at least get right for the wedding.

I grabbed my gold galaxy S 5 from off the table and looked up gyms and physical trainers. I found a gym downtown with a excellent physical trainer. LeAnna Lopez. She was the best in the city. I know she would get me right for the wedding.

I called the Strong Arm Gym and made an appointment with Ms. Lopez for Monday morning at 9am. I never been to a gym in my life. I just hope she don't kill me.
