War of Love [ON HOLD]

Chapter 1

That was two and a half years ago and the memories still haunt me.

When Erin and I had both turned 21, we decided to move into a small yellow house together. It had a cute little garden out back, with a tree to the left and then some free space. We had come to the decision of putting a little outdoor sitting area there. In the front of the house there was a bed of grass, with a little stone walkway. The house was two floors, with two bedrooms,one for me and one for Erin. The kitchen was my favourite part though. It was big and had a huge window as one of the walls. It was stunning.

People thought it was strange how Erin and I could be such close friends even with a gender difference. But sometimes I thought I wanted to be more than friends. I don't know what it is but she's just so perfect. She's quirky and has the ability to make anyone smile. Like right know we are in the kitchen area and she's dancing with a broom and lip singing. She's so beautiful.

" Helius..... Heliuss ...............HELIUS" she yelled causing me to snap out of my thoughts. " Yes" I said.

" Is something wrong" she asked. " "No, just thinking" I lied. The truth is something is wrong. You know what's wrong, I'll tell you what's wrong. Erin isn't my girlfriend. That's what's wrong. I can't handle it anymore. " I love you" I blurted out. " Awe, I love you too, Helius" she said while walking over to me and hugging me. I was about to come clean right there, but someone came bursting through the door.

"Helius" said Howard. He was dressed in his yellow rain coat and boots, which was strange because today was a sunny and beautiful day. Howard was like my dad. My parents had been killed when I was a child, so Howard took care of me when I was younger. I'm not quite sure how the arrangement came to be, but it did. Howard was also our head of news. He knew everything before it happened. Literally, Howard had visions.

"Howard.. what's wrong" I asked. There was a silence in the room as he took his shoes off on the mat. When he looked up I could tell something was really wrong. just by the look on his face.

"What am I supposed to do" I questioned Howard. He had just told me the most terrifying thing. He was back. The man I fought in the rain. The man who tried to take Erin. The man who was coming to kill me.

" Just start packing some stuff and be prepared to fight him at anytime" Howard explained. There was a silence in the room.

"We know his name" Howard said.

"Who's" Erin asked curiously. She had been quiet till this point.

"The man who tried to take you" Howard said in a surprisingly calm voice.

I moved forward on my seat. We had decided to gather around the table after Howard barged in.

"Serven" said Howard. The name rang a bell, but I just dismissed it.

There was a silence in the room as Howard took a deep breath.

"Helius" Howard said breaking the silence.

" What?" I asked.

" You can't bring Erin" Howard said.
