KRISTEL'S P.O.V.

Ughh... what happened...

My head... it's heavy... my knees... feels like, it's patched up.

"Kristel! ... please wake up... wake up!" I can hear her voice echoing. Beside the noisy crowds, I tried to focus on her voice. It's Jade.

I can see the lights... but it's blurry.

My vision grew wider... but those things that I can see... it's awful.

Lamentations are everywhere... blood and tears dripping in the marble floors. Some were decieved, some were praying, many are crying. Loud sirens from the ambulance can be heard from the open window.

And the time began when I asked myself, "Where am I?"

It feels like, a war break through...

Jade is standing beside me, wearing a cast on her right arm. She had a scrape on her face, yet she is fine.

"How do you feel... are you okay" she asked me with concern.

"I'm fine... the last moment I remember... I'm inside the bus, my legs can't move. The leaking began to ignite, and then... I heard you screaming my name from afar" Then I started weeping... "I thought. I tought it will be my last time to... to he-"

She covered my mouth. It still smells like gum. Seriously for the second time today?

"Don't worry. You're fine now..." she comforted me... I'm really grateful having her in my life.

"Uhmm... hey, guess what..." Jade said.

"Wh-what?" I replied.

"The guy behind you? He's Gordon..."

I never met a person named Gordon, so I looked behind with curiousity. It's a bit hard though... my back is aching, feels like your spinal cord getting twisted. But what I saw, surprised me...

He's the guy on the bus stop. The one who made my heart beat stop, who made me realize... love.

"When you lost your consciousness, Gordon realized that he left something important, and when he found you, he dragged you out..." Jade explained. "After seconds of struggling, he went out of the vehicle, with his left leg severely injured" she added.

My eyes started blurring again, one by one, my tears dripped down, every tear of guilt.

" He's in a critical condition right now... he lost so much air during the accident. A blue handkerchief was said to be placed on your mouth before the rescuers picked you up. Looks like someone made a sacrifice..." Jade informed. It feels like she knew every bit of detail from that accident... I wonder.

I broke inside after hearing that.

Why... why me? Why would you save a stupid, idiot, ugly person like me... I don't know if, should I be thankful or be mad at you. Saving a worthless girl like me, is pointless.

After a while my mom came in the emergency room, rushing to me... just like how she acts during mall sales.

"Ohh my... oh my... Kristel! I got so worried on you. Are you okay?" She sobbed after saying those worried words.
