The Darkness within me

The beggining

Backstory:

Sarah was alway a lonely girl but she could bear with it. Her parents died when she was a baby so she never really knew them. Her aunt was always taking care but as she grew older her and her aunt grew more distant. So her aunt was practically never home anymore.

Sarah woke up she got out of bed and headed downstairs. She got a bowl out of the kitchen and put cereal in the bowl. Then she walked to the fridge. there was a sticky note that said:

Sarah

Ill be on a business trip for a couple of days. If you need anything theres money in the left drawer.

-aunt

Sarah opened the fridge grabbed the milk and poured the milk into her cereal. She got up went upstairs and dressed up for school and left the house.It was always normal routine eating aunt never being home the going to school. Sarah started walking to school. she stopped for a moment, at first there was nothing but as she kept walking and walking there was an eerie feeling that grew stronger as if it was crawling up her spine. It felt as if it was coming after her then Sarah just started to walk faster and faster and by the time she got to school the bell rang and she ran inside. Later that day during lunch she was eating alone not like it made a difference to what she usually does. She walked down the hall into the girls bathroom it was noisy as always girls talking about crap and doing there make up. then she left it was to crowded in there for her anyways but once she stepped out of the bathroom everything grew silent. The lights were still on but it felt as if the whole school was dark and deserted. Sarah started to feel lonely this feeling got stronger and stronger as if it was a monster coming after her. She started feeling paranoid and started to run faster and faster but no matter how fast she ran the feeling of loneliness only got stronger. She then fell down on the ground it felt as if the air was thick and hard to breath as if she was engulfed by something toxic. She tried to crawl away but it only got stronger and it was as if there was something heavy pushing her down then she went unconscious.

Few hours later.....

Sarah woke up in the nurses office with someone right next to her.

" Hey you alright? "

"I'm feeling fine"*cough*

"Are you your alright? your cough sounds like death"

"I just been wearing myself out lately"

"Well alright hope your not sick"

"I got to go ,7th hour is starting soon..."

Then she felt the eerie feeling again and this time it was coming coming after her and she new that too.

"WAIT" Sarah grabs his arm "Can you just stay here little longer."

"Umm yeah sure"

"So umm whats your name?"

"Its just Sarah"

"Im Nathan"

"So um how did you find me?"

"What do you mean I saw you running down the hall then you collapsed on the ground. The teacher tried waking you up but you wouldn't. So I brought you here to the nurses office."

"Um then thanks for bringing me here."

"Its fine everyone got scared that you didn't wakeup."

Nurse walks in.

"Nathan its time for you to go now you have to get to 7th hour"

"Okay. Well I hope your feeling better Sarah."

"I hope so to" Sarah whispered to herself.

Then Nathan left the room.Sarah just laid there for a while not knowing what to do. She had no clue what was happening she was confused.Sarah was staring at the ceiling listening to the clock.*tick* *tick* then she fell asleep.

Nurse:"Sarah,Sarah,Sarah its time to wake up."

"hmm" Sarah wakes up but still tired

Nurse:"Schools over you have to go home now make sure your careful I don't want you collapsing in the middle of the street"

"Okay"

Sarah gets up and heads to her classroom to pick up her things. Then she heads over to the entrance of the school and starts walking home.When she got home nothing strange occurred. She ate dinner it was just a sandwich with ham and cheese and a coke. Sarah finished up her homework took a bath and the went to bed.

Later that night...

"Sarah"something whispered

"Sarah"

"SARAH!"

*CRASH*

Sarah was woken up by the loud noise but she thought it was just her neighbors dog. but then there was nothing but silence. All you could here was the sound of the fan *clank* *clank* *clank*

*CRASH*

It was the noise again it came from downstairs

*CRASH*

This time getting louder and closer

*CLASH*

*CLASH*

Sarah ran out off the bed and shut the door closed and ran back to her bed

"Stop stop stop stop" Sarah kept whispering to her self

"Stop Stop Stop"

A few hours later she gradually fell asleep.

The next morning...

Sarah woke up first she couldn't really see anything but once her eyes adjusted her room was a mess. All her clothes was circled around her bed. The dressers and posters on the wall fell where all on the ground.And right there in front of her scratched into the wall was "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH".
