Hi my name is Danielle and I want to bring you to a day when i was 10. I'm 25 now but let's get started.
It was a nice hot July day and me and my friend Ava were hot and baking in the Texas sun and we went to go get some sweet cold treats. We went to the corner market but it was closed. The sign said that they were doing "improvements" To the store. We shrugged it off and then we were so desperate at that point we decided to walk an extra half mile away to the towns biggest store.
We were about 5 mins into the walk there and Ava mentioned her feet we burning from the scolding pavement. We were almost there so we walked it out.
When we got there the cool air brushed our face. That felt good but the frozen treat we have been thinking about sounded better. We ran to the frozen foods and took out a box of Popsicles and payed for them. Immediately when we walked out of the store we each took a popsicle out and ate one, only one for some reason. And also because we were too hot we just asked my mom to pick us up.
On the way back I was looking at the box, studying the back of it because I was bored. It said it expired next month on the same day. Ava said jokingly that if you don't throw that food away before it expires you will expire with it. "Stop trying to scare me! " I said inbetween laughs. I even laughed so hard I almost peed. We dropped off Ava at her house and we went home.
