Where or Why?

Help?

I awoke the next day excited for school.
I felt really happy, so I wore my black Hello Kitty clothes as opposed to some death band clothes.

Jessica was going to come today, and I was going to sit with Flynn and his band at lunch.
But Leah was waiting for me.

"You." she said.

"Uh.... Hi?" I said.

"I know what you're doing."

"Huh???"

"I know you want Flynn, but you won't have him."

"But-"

"I know your kind. You act all nice when really you're a *#+@/ inside. You don't care about him at all." She said.

That stung.
She thought I was evil.
Tears started swelling, but I held them back.

"Look, Leah,........I like your brother....... I like him a lot. I may never tell him,.......but I do. I genuinely want to be with him. I just wish I had your help, because I don't know what to do......." I said.

"You have one chance. Prove it."

"What? How?"

"Tell him."

"Tell him what?"

"That you like him."

"What!? I can't-

"Do it, or I'll never trust you. He's inside. Go."

I couldn't risk losing Flynn so I went.
I waited for him.
And when I saw him, I went for a kiss.

I didn't receive one.
I got air instead.

"I'm sorry, I'm just not ready."said Flynn.

"But she means it!"said Leah.

"I'm still not over Jessica."

"WHAT?! You went out with Jessica?!" I exclaimed.
