On the way

The weeks sped by until we hit the day of our flight. I was a combination of excited and absolutely terrified as I didn't really like planes but I was finally, finally getting to go to Bondi. Mike and Angelina had agreed that I could live in one of my properties on my own as I was old enough and had been for a while, but we just decided to live together to save on costs. Given the letter and the note, I decided to trust my real family and live on my own while they lived in Sydney.

When we got to the airport I found out that we had accidentally booked 2 separate flights and I was going to be on my own, not that I really minded. It would give me some time away from them and talk to my uncle without worrying about any prying eyes and questions. I feel like they're getting more and more suspicious as time goes on so this break will be nice.

***Time skip to arrival in Bondi***

After collecting my luggage, I wandered out of the terminal and saw a group of 5 men squabbling as another stood to the side, looking exasperated as he held a lilac sign that said 'Welcome home, Raina' in large cursive font. Presuming it was me, I walked over tentatively. As soon as I got closer, the squabbling men all stopped and looked at me. I felt my heart begin to race and my palms became sweaty. Not now, I chided myself, this is your family. Stop it. My head began to spin and I felt faint. The last thing I remembered was the worried look off the men and then a falling sensation.

A/N

Hi guys, I'm sorry for the massive delay and the shortness of this chapter. The updates will probably be few and far between because I am sitting my A-levels, as I am from England.

Also, thank you to @EllenBryant for the vote on the last chapter. You honestly made my day.

Thanks for reading and bearing with me.
