" mom do I have to go? " I sighed.
" yes, hun! It's your first day of college ! " she said excitedly.

She sounded way more excited than I was, maybe it was because she was glad to finally get rid of me? We used to fight a lot but I love my mother to death and I hope she feels the same because then that would suck.

I sighed as we pulled up to the parking lot of the dorms, it was a medium-sized building that didn't look too bad. I got out and grabbed my stuff from the trunk, which was 3 suitcases because I had A LOT of thick hoodies, haha, oops? we walked to the entrance and went in, it was pretty basic but very welcoming and warming. There was a seating area with tablets and tv's and on the other side there was the cafeteria which also looked like a whole mall food court, I turned back and my mom was already walking out to the car.

" bye, mama ... " I whispered to myself.

" hi ma'am, how can I help you ? " said the lady at the front desk flashing me a smile.

" dorm for loreli hernandez "

" 3rd floor, room 310 " she smiled and handed me the key.

" thank you " I nodded and walked away heading to the elevator.

I pressed the 3 and up I went, when it stopped I walked out and down the hall to the door that said 310. I got the key and opened it and as soon as I walked in, strong fumes of weed hit me. it smelled horrible, what the hell was this girl smoking, it smells liked it was laced hard. I walked a little further and into the living room passed the small kitchen, luxury dorm rooms are bigger than I expected. I looked at the couch and saw the back of a boys head? I cleared my throat and ... HE? what the fuck! I have to share a dorm with some druggie boy ?!

" oh hey," he said standing up and opening the windows.

I just stared at his shirtless body, damn, he was hot.

" hellooo ? " he said waving his hand in my face.

" that smell is horrid," I said swishing the smoke out of view.

" You must be lor ," he said walking back to the couch.

" Only my friends can call me that, to you its loreli " i rolled my eyes and he just laughed.

" Which one is my room? " I huffed

" the one on the right lor " he mocked  

" well um, what's your name? " I sighed

"I'm Joey," he said smiling

" short for joseph?" I raised a brow

"what? no " he said looking away

" alright joseph I'm going to go unpack " I laughed

" don't call me that ! " he huffed

this is going to be the longest 4 years of my life ...

after 2 hours I finished unpacking, the room was a good size and it was really nice. it looked ... naked though. I grabbed my phone and walked to the living room.

"hey, do you have a car "

" why would I let you use it ? " he scoffed.

" I need it, they're not gonna bring mine till tomorrow and I want to get things for my room " I whined.

" what are you gonna do for it ? " he smirked

" oh my god ill just fucking wait " I turned back to my room and slammed the door
