Chapter 4:He's the New CEO?!?

Nicola's POV

"Bye ,love!!! See you later, the both of you!!"I said and Nicolai reach his hand to me like he wants to reach my head so I giggle then let  leaned my head for him to reach...

Reaching me, He then hold at my both cheeks as a loving kiss came by... I giggled at his adorable smile showing me his cute dimples that he inherited from both me and his father..

"I love you too,love!!!" I told him as he let go.... I then faced my friend Rick then smile

"Call me if something happens, okay?"

"Yes, babe!!And oh!, Audrey's gonna come later this afternoon and she wants me to ask you if its okay to you if we'll walk Nicolai around?I mean, if we can stroll him around the mall?"

"Fine for me. AGAIN, Just call me okay? And please tell your girlfriend that I'm sorry for disturbing you both...SEE YOU!!" I bid them then get in my car ,not letting him open his mouth to talk

I then drove to the company for I'm gonna be late in 15minutes...

"ugh! / Shit!"I cried in pain when I accidentally collide with someone who said shit.

"Who the heck are you—!! Nicola!! thank god you're now here!!"

"Oh? George? Why do you look—" stressed, panicked, and relived???

"Listen Cola!! You're not part of the company's planning department's secretaries anymore... I don't know why but I think its because of the new CEO— Hey?Nicola, you alright?" I think my world crashed at the moment he said that I'm not part of the company's planning department secretary anymore... Shit! Does that mean.... I'm fired?!?What will happen to me and my son now that I don't have a work to make us live?!? What will happen to Nicolai's future?!?

  

"Where is Mr.McGregor?"

"Oh, yeah... He's at the conference room together with the new CEO and the other planning department staffs.. They've been there for about 4minutes I think.... Come, I'm about to go there now that you came...."He said so I hold his hand and hurriedly went in the  elevator then push the second to the TOP, floor button...

I am trying to calm myself or I'll burst into tears... If I'm fired because I'm late, (for the second time) I will not easily find a job as good as this one where I can still have much time with my son! Finding work is now harder that it seems to be!And— and what if I'm now truly fired!?! I can't just depend onto my friend,Rick! Though he runs his own company, I can't bare my conscience now that I'm disturbing him and Audrey!

I heard the elevator rang as it open. I then hurriedly walk to the room and about to knock when the door flew openly wide enough for us to see what's inside but my sight drop unto a girl crying for the I don't know reason!
